It should be on the side of the box the phone came in. The label should show where it was made, the date, serial number Imai, and hardware revision.
I see all those except the date.

I have an S6 Edge and my screen rotation is just fine, although now that AT&T has the regular S6 128GB available I am swapping back to that it will be here on Monday. I just don't feel the Edge is worth the extra money or aggravation in finding accessories. Still its been solid, no battery drain issues, no screen issues, no issues at all, except for the sucky bootup sound AT&T puts on it.

This fast charger/slow charger labeling stuff is getting ridiculous. This isn't a rogue charger, its the charger that came in the box. Yes its a fast charger buts its the OEM charger for the S6. No where do they tell you go out and buy a slow charger or use this one only under certain conditions to be safe. This is meant to be the everyday charger for the phone. For the millions of phones their going to sell, this is the only charger the majority of people are ever going to use, doesn't matter if they needed a quick charge or not, this is it, whether anybody wants to believe it or not. Yes I understand the chip theory, the bad one burns out and if you have a good chip theres no issues. But people refusing to use the charger? This was one of the main selling points with the phone. Why would anybody even want to keep a phone their going to have to baby and walk on egg shells with the whole time. Because their afraid it might break for using the OEM charger? If thats the case just return it now because your saying theres a defect and a design flaw. You have people here saying the rotation didnt work out of the box, wheres the charger/heat theory there?
can someone with rotation issues confirm this?
According some of the reports, you should contact Samsung Support at 1-800-samsung. Has anyone contact them to see what they have to say about this?
i did,
they were no help at all. i told her that this was my second device to crap out and she still treated me like an ***** saying "are you sure its not the auto rotate button is unchecked?" i explained to her that this is a known issue and this is my second device that i have ALREADY done trouble shooting with sprint, to include a factory reset. she still had me test the auto rotate button...even in safe mode... i asked to speak to a manager and she told me that there was not one available.
as for the quick charge... i dont think that is the issue. my wife has had her phone (same as mine s6 edge 64) since launch and we use the same quick charger almost the same amount. hers is still working fine and im about to be on my 3rd device.
Spoke with Samsung and they said that it is an Android software issue. Google knows about it and that it will be fixed in the 5.0.3 code version once released. (of course verizon has to approve the software update as well)
