Samsung Trade in Program, how quickly does the process work thread.

It's because the package came from Brooklyn, the box needed to quarantine for 2 weeks.
It's actually the opposite. If you come here from somewhere else, you must quarantine. We have a much lower positivity rate than the majority of the country and certainly lower than anywhere in Texas.

Hahaha figures I had that wrong, but I did hear something like that and got it backwards.

Mine made it (from Houston) to Ft. Worth today, just in time. I got an email about FedEx possibly holding deliveries for safety due to ole windy Hurricane Laura.

I just checked with their trade in support and they said it doesn't have to be with the device.

And according to their support, the Note 20 Ultra doesn't support changing pen tips, that's why they're not included in the Note 20/Ultra devices. So, I am keeping my Note10+ S Pen and tips.

I don't trust what they are telling you. Not worth the hassle if it gets rejected because if they do reject the trade there is nothing you can do to correct it. Also I don't believe the tips are not replaceable because someone already has successfully done it.

That's what I usually do. Just be sure not to leave any useful accessories in the box.

I have spare chargers, the S Pen nibs, headphones, 128gb sd card, sim card, not to mention some really nice cases and screen protectors I never even used. : )

It felt great to get that trade-in to Fedex today!! Tracking says it should be delivered by Thursday! Woo hoo. Hopefully, I will get the full value. The Note 10+ was encased in a military grade case the entire time I owned it and I never even removed the factory screen protector until it was time to send it off. :)

Well... the SPen is lost as far as they're concerned, and the phone is boxed up already, so I guess we'll see what happens.

I sent my N10+ in Saturday. With looming hurricanes, (shout out to Blues Fan) I didn't want to take any chances on it being late. I'd have liked to have kept it longer to do some comparisons but oh well. Such is life in the deep South.
Yeah, stay safe down there!

It wasn't until I looked at a photo taken with my new phone that I saw that I had never removed the factory installed glass protector and that's what was dinged!!! I can't believe that the guys at UBreak it and Att both studied the glass and didn't see that the original factory protector was still installed. I'm so embarrassed!!!!
I dropped my Note 10 about 1.5 ft onto a carpeted surface that had a plushy rug on the carpet. It was a very soft fall & the phone was only days old. When I picked it up I saw what looked like crack on the right edge of the glass--right in the middle of it. I freaked out! When I took it to a repair place he told me it was just a crease in the screen protector, but I disagreed with him. I held my breath as he peeled it away...

You could get lucky even if they do expect it back. For all we know it could be the norm I've just never heard it confirmed 100 percent for sure. I do recall that a couple of people have been sucessful.

Yeah... so when the tip goes bad, just buy a new S-Pen for $$$ and help Samsung's bottom line!!!

I had a display replaced by Ubreak and they didn't realize the new screen came with a protector.

Can you post here to let us know if your trade went through ok without the S-Pen, or if they charged you for it?

First we stress about receiving our new devices and now we're stressed about sending the old ones back. Too much stress!
