Samsung Trade in Program, how quickly does the process work thread.

I just sent my s20+ the way I have always sent my trade in's, factory reset and wrapped just the phone in bubble wrap, threw it in a box with the paper that they want in the box and slapped the label on it.

I just searched FedEx and mine is in Widener, AR, between Memphis and Little Rock. I then went to the WX Map - the storm is headed right at Little Rock!!! Damned, my luck, here I am worried about the Samsung Facility in Ft. Worth... hope 'Katrina' and 'sweetiepie' and all those on the mid-south coast are O.K.!

UPDATE: Good One, 1:48 PM - Arrived Hutchins, TX (which is about 25 miles southwest of Dallas) - No Updates since - Better than right in the center of the storm track, for sure!!! Looks like only 30-45 minutes from Ft. Worth, by my calculations... still may not hear anything until Monday because of the weekend!

My trade-in has arrived in Fort Worth, TX. Scheduled for delivery manana. I will be so glad when it's done.

I just got an email confirming my trade-in was successful.

For reference, I shipped it on 8/21. They received it 8/24. Got a received confirmation same night. Then to confirmation email today, 8/26.

I used the note 10+ packaging to ship it along with the box the note 20+ came in and used the inflated air bags they used.

I wrapped mine with extra bubble wrap as well.

Why I freaked also during Irma and my package spending an extra week in Miami is because they already started the countdown clock even though it was sitting there. I lucked out this time. Laura was supposed to at one point some of the models were showing it hitting South FL as a cat4 hurricane.

I returned mine (from Houston to Ft. Worth) on the 22nd. It was received on the 25th, and I got an acceptance email the 27th.

All is well here, thanks! We barely got a sprinkle of rain. Houston. My family back home in Louisiana got lots of rain, minor wind damage. We'll take it.

My Trade-in is "On FedEx Truck, Out for Delivery" - Irving, TX - 7:22AM... Good!!!

UPDATE: Delivered @ 12:16PM and signed for by D. Johnson!

My husband took my trade-in to FedEx this morning while I was showering. What a great guy! So now I guess my countdown begins...

It's time to checkout the Buds Live & the Sanitizer/Wireless Charger that came with the N20 Ultra. My husband has been eyeing that Buds Live box. We may have to work out a joint custody agreement.

:)

I dropped mine off yesterday afternoon. It is currently in Hagerstown, MD. FedEx app says it should be delivered my end of day Tuesday, Sept. 1.

No there is no restocking fee.

You will have 15 calendar days after receiving the products to initiate a return and another 15 days to return the item - totaling 30 calendar days to mail back the products.
You have to initiate the return from your end, on your order look up page you will find the return tab once you click on the return tab you will receive the return shipping label to your registered email id.

You have to paste the label on the box and drop the box at the authorized FedEx outlet.
Once the order is delivered to us you will be refunded within 3-5 business days.

What happens if you want to return but no longer have the free $200 worth of free stuff from Samsung? Will they charge you full price for the stuff?

I gave my trade-in to FedEx on 8/21, it was delivered to Samsung on 8/25. I got the confirmation that Samsung fully accepted it today (8/28).
One week total for me.

I dropped my Note 10 about 1.5 ft onto a carpeted surface that had a plushy rug on the carpet. It was a very soft fall & the phone was only days old. When I picked it up I saw what looked like crack on the right edge of the glass--right in the middle of it. I freaked out! When I took it to a repair place he told me it was just a crease in the screen protector, but I disagreed with him. I held my breath as he peeled it away...
I had a similar incident with an LG phone years ago. Got it to the car, inboxed it, saw the "cracks"! I had no idea there was a piece of plastic over the glass. It wasn't even a real screen protector but I freaked and missed the tiny tab to pull it off! LOL

Still waiting on my approval email. They emailed me saying they received it on the 27th, even though it was delivered the 25th. My note 10+ was in perfect condition, not a single scratch and was packaged extremely well, completely filled with air bubblers. The phone was also wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap.
