T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Saw over on the Sprint thread one has actually shipped via a ups notification, arriving tomorrow. Fingers crossed

No, a lot of people ordered from Samsung.com in order to take advantage of the trade in offer. There are many people who are on JoD or who want to order from Tmobile who had Note 7s as well. Not everyone who had a Note 7 is ordering a phone from Samsung.com.

Samsung used the same language with the S8 preorder and many people received their phones after carriers.

Keep telling yourself that.

Well mine might be delayed. I don't have jod because T-Mobile won't give it to me (and I have great credit), I had to do the down payment, etc. My stupid credit card sent an email this morning --5 days after I used it-- asking if it was legit. Then said "if its rejected, try again. " I have over $2,000 in credit on the card. I pay more then once a month to keep it low. etc.

I need a new card apparently.

I had to call in yesterday and provide a 2nd card. When they tried to bill shipping the first time apparently it didn't go through. Must be been typo on their end. My cards are fine and have available money.

I had all sorts of trouble preordering yesterday, after listening to "Mark" constantly try to sell me a case because of his deep concern for the phones safety I gave him the card info only be told he was receiving an error. I told him he hasn't asked for the expiration date or any other info, error again. Tried a different card, same thing. All my cards have plenty of space for the $7 shipping cost, pretty sure some of them may be clueless. Debating on calling again for a third strike or just going to a store to deal with it.

I despise ordering in stores lol

As a T-Mobile customer I went thru Samsung to take advantage of the $425 credit. Despite these early "shipping" notifications, I'm willing to bet that the Samsung orders are delivered on or before the same date as any carrier orders

I ordered the note 7 through Samsung last year. The company in charge of shipping were terrible. My phone was going to ship after the launch date

I'm not a big fan either, but at this point it seems like the only way to preorder the phone.
Go to the T-mobile app and click on messaging or on the website once logged in. You type in your own payment information as well. So, if you screw it up, it's on you, not the rep.

I wonder if we will earn Samsung reward points after getting the Note 8. I got a bunch when I got the S8+

Yes. Slow and you can't multi-task as you can when you chat with someone online. They are really slow as well. At least you can do other things while waiting.
costco was unbearable. the guy didn't even know they were pre-ordering for Sprint. no one did except me. when he still said no I (tried to) calmly suggest he read his emails for that morning while I pulled up my screen caps I took. even when he confirmed it was there and read it, his comment was I don't how to do it. omg! it's going to be just like the others! stayed calm and helped him over his fear of reading and entering data. lol

Yep. A big reason why I'd rather deal online. Now, I'll have to turn in my JOD LG G6 in store but I don't care that's the easy part lol
