T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

TMobile and Sprint shipping early. And we wonder why we have a society of people that can't follow directions and/or refuse to do things by the rules. Even our biggest companies can't adhere to a simple release date. Lol.

I have a dumb question. Why does it matter when carriers ship when they get the stock from Samsung? Seems to be a big deal. That they get the authorization from Samsung first, etc.

Maybe they are following the rules. This is designed to excite and to keep up the anticipation.

It shouldn't matter but Samsung should not have a release date if noone is going to adhere to it. If Samsung wants to have a release date then they should enforce that date with their carriers.

Of course there is that hurricane out there. Long ways away but it might have a shot at making it all the way it looks like. It would hit around the time my phone is supposed to be shipped. Watch it hits me.

Unless the release date is just for availability in store fronts

They should state that then. They haven't stated that though. I'm happy for anyone that's getting their Note8 early. Its just another bad look for Samsung that you're carriers are ignoring your release dates and shipping people your product before you even ship it yourself.

This is probably the biggest reason release dates still exist. They still need to drive traffic into retail stores. Manufactures essentially get free advertising in the Sunday ads the week of release from the retailers to help build up the anticipation.

It would be funny the few who claim they got tracking info if it's for a free speaker dock like Samsung did for the s8 LOL.

Lol. I know mine is the phone. I ordered through T-Mobile and will pick my free choice once I get the phone and register for it

guys i need help, my credit card was charged this morning. but no ups tracking updates, no tracking info. whats going on. how does this work. please help

Tracking numbers are assigned as soon as the labels are created. My guess is that these will be held at the shipping centers and actually be delivered very close to the 15th.

May be a day before you see tracking updates they are probably doing these in batches.

You don't need help, just patience.
That's the first step. It's usually the day before you get any other updates regarding shipping.

They won't ship till the 11th in my opinion.

Some from samsung said Sept 5th they will be shipped out. Could be be though from their clueless people.

It would be funny if samsung.com people got their phones next week and people who ordered from the carriers get them a week later for a chance lol.

It would have to be asap. Yes most of us have imei numbers via the lease agreement email we got yesterday but there is more to that. I look in billings tab then scroll down to JOD leases balance you will see your note 8 now included. They can not start the clock billing us as the lease dates state yesterday date without us getting us the phones soon or they will have lots of customers call next month because 2 devices payment of original device and new note 8 on account
