Definitely agree with you about tempering our excitement because of previous years, but the weird thing is that Sprint and Verizon are now showing 9/5 for a delivery date. That's the thing that gives me some hope that this will be sooner than later. Not like either of those carriers to be so speedy with preordered phones.

I agree, Tmo can not let VZW beat them to the punch. VZW (used to be with them) has a long history of being the last to ship new phones, last to update firmware ect.
ingenious247 has a great post. And I agree with it. But it wil not prevent me from hoping and dreaming it will start shipping at any moment.
The F5 key is almost worn out.
Not true. I just signed up for JOD and pre-ordered the Note 8 yesterday. One thing about T-Mobile - the call center reps, for the most part, are idiots. You'll get a different answer for the same question from three different reps. Call back again and speak with someone different. Yesterday, the first rep I spoke with tried to tell me the JOD cost for the Note 8 was $210 and $30 per month for 24 months. I told her that was incorrect and that was the EIP price. She argued with me until I asked for a supervisor, at which point she came back and apologized for giving me incorrect information. FWIW, that was not an english speaking rep, so I assume the call center was busy and it rolled over to an overseas call center. I called back later and spoke with a regular T-Mobile rep, and my order was done in less than 5 minutes.
Thanks, but can you do the zero down JOD option right at sign up with new service? Or is that price only for existing JOD customers? Thanks again for the responses.
The only thing different this time around is that all carriers seem to have some movement this time around, as opposed to previous pre-orders.
Yeah, well people posted all kinds of "movement" last go-round, which turned out to be other shipments they "thought" were the phone.. and if you notice, on any "movement" people have been claiming, they don't show the weight, actual shipment origin, or any other information definitively linking the tracking to the actual phone.. Not saying there's no actual movement, but yeah.. I haven't seen anything that proves it.
Verizon
Well, my shipment says it weighs 1.2 lbs.. so why does this one say 2 lbs?
I remember seeing discrepancies before with the online shipping weights versus the weights printed on the boxes what happens is if anything is over one pound it will be rounded up to two poundsWell, my shipment says it weighs 1.2 lbs.. so why does this one say 2 lbs?
Hey, I'm all for people getting it early, I've just seen this all before..
