T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

We are still on Simple Choice. Are you on the T-Mobile One plan? If so, how are you WiFi hotspot speeds on LTE for your tethered devices? Are you happy with the plan?

T-Mobile is telling me I have to switch to T-Mobile One plan to take advantage of the Note 8 BOGO.

Switched to T-Mobile one to take advantage of BOGO.

Monday is a holiday. UPS won't be doing anything.

I wonder if the 5th is when these phones for Verizon are to be delivered to the hub and sit for a week or so.

That hub works 24/7. Labor day doesn't matter. Planes will be flying all over the country. Deliveries are stopped for that day but that's about it.

I dud my pre-order with T-Mobile today and in the email it says my note 8s are being sent ground. I thought they would be sent 2 day shipping at least. does anyone else have theirs is shipping ground as well?

3 different shipping options. Ground was the cheapest and probably the default. No free shipping for this launch.

Don't expect free shipping from T-mobile ever anymore. I think they started this a few months ago.

I think it's been longer than that. I believe I paid for shipping on my Note 7 pre-order and I know I paid for shipping on the kids iPhones last Christmas.

For those of you that have purchased more than one phone...when you log into your tmobile account and check the status...and you click more details underneath shipped what does it say?

On my first line it says 39.00 monthly

on my second line it says 0.00 monthly

and then in my email the order confirmation on my first line everything is normal....on my second line it says something about a promo as long as I meet the requirements.

I called tmobile and they think its the bogo promo however I am on Jump on demand I don't qualify so I am not sure what promo this is but I need to find out so I can do whatever needs to be done to make sure this phone stays free....unless everyone else that has more than one phone says this also.....

I didn't get charged any shipping he automatically gave me free overnight shipping and it says it on my order confirmation. Never gave any credit card info and I don't have one on file with them. I ordered on the 31st and already in shipped status with an IMEI for both phones lol my rep was the bomb

BOGO on Note 8 Already Available!

I admit I didn't see this one coming. The Note 8's official store release is 2 weeks away but T.Mobile has already started a Buy-One-Get-One-Free for the Note 8 on orders placed after September 1st.

It's obvious that the retailers and Samsung are becoming aware of the high price of the Note 8. I wonder what Verizon and AT&T might offer once the phone hit retail.

Re: BOGO on Note 8 Already Available!

AT&T is already offering this to new subscribers and current Directv customers. BOGO includes Note 8. I already have Directv so I got the Note 8 deal.

No idea lol. I just signed up today and can't start using the service until the phones arrive!

Well I hope you are right.

Me too. But I'm also hoping the Verizon report from BGR is accurate. If it's not then that could ruin everything and these phones could sit for 10 more days.

Having said that, I find it hard to believe FedEx (Verizon orders) would pickup these phone shipments and then agree to sit on them for 10-12 days before delivering them.

I ordered from Verizon and my tracking has it just arriving at my airport sort facility 15 min from my house. If they are going to sit on it they are going to at my local hub. I'm looking forward to Tuesday.

The first time I ever paid for shipping was about a month and a half ago. My S8 had free shipping as well as my Note7.

I'm calling in a bit to see if I can get at least 2nd day shipping.
Most of their ground service area is usually within a 2 day window anyways since they ship from multiple locations.
My order says 3-day select. However, it looks like I'm in the 2-day transit area from Louisville. Probably get it in 2 days.

Was thinking of ordering two from T-Mobile on the BOGO. But we are on the senior plan (+55) for $60 for two lines. When i called them, the cost to add a third line jacked my rate to $140 since you can only have two lines with the senior plan. It's cheaper for me to just pay for a second one than get it free.
So I just ordered one unlocked from the Samsung site.
