T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

everybody stressing just enjoy your Labor Day people, the next step is to see origin scanning if that happens tonight will most likely get deliveries tomorrow if you paid for the overnight shipping like myself

My next step will be getting an actual shipped notification, along with waiting longer because I wasn't given an option to get faster shipping. Never mind that it's not particularly settling reading people placing orders after me, and getting "Shipped" notifications, while I continue to wait in "PartiallyPreOrder" limbo.

T-Mobile's really given me the shaft this time, and no CSR seems to want to do a thing about it... not even a bill credit, or accessory offer.

When and how did you placed the order? In the past I would do it over the phone but I rather go to the store. Store reps more willing to work with you then phone reps who are eager to finish the order and call to hang up

While I don't need to provide you proof, just check Twitter. Leger, Des, and Neville Ray have been talking it up quite a bit. But you miss the point of my post. The point is they have more to promote than just another Samsung phone in the long line of Samsung phones.

I fully understand the impact, or lack of, that the 600Mhz brings to the table today. Nonetheless, TMO is hyping it, as they should. It was a big win for them and now they have a phone that can utilize it. They want to get the word out and get people excited even if it is basically vaporware today.

Of course you don't need to provide proof, was asking if you would, that's all. I don't bother with Twitter personally. But, it is good to know that they are talking up 600MHz a lot on there, thank you.

Totally agree that the 31MHz chunk win of 600MHz is a huge deal for them. And yeah, glad to know that they are hyping it up, and should be so I agree there as well. When I first got wind of the their 600MHz win I was very excited and obviously can't wait until the day to be able to take advantage of it. I really want to see TMO displace Verizon.

That's just it. I called in at midnight on the 24th and was told I couldn't order it over the phone, and I had to go to the store when it opened. Of course life got in the way, and I wasn't able to place my order until 4 or 5pm that same day. Granted, it was a newer store, but the rep gave me no option for Next Day, told me the only thing that was there was the Ground option. I tried working with them as much as I could but they said that they could only do ground.

T-Mobile's customer service all around is very terrible, I place my order last Tuesday the 29th and I was given the 3 options of shipping. I picked the overnight for 24.99 - hopefully we get more info tonight when ups goes back to work

It's only been terrible for this launch. They've been ok for everything else. Last year when I got my iPhone 7 Plus a week late, even though it wasn't their fault (Apple simply did not make the model I had ordered until it was too late), they gave a sizable bill credit. The difference in the two experiences is night and day.

Wow! I have jump on demand and was charged $27 shipping. Was anyone successful with getting them to waive the overnight shipping?

Nope. Like I said... I wasn't even given an option for overnight shipping. And they couldn't even waive my $7 ground. Not to mention that my order still hasn't moved an inch. Shouldn't be a surprise why I'm rather livid with the situation.

I never got charged...my rep gave us free overnight shipping from the jump. I have read a fee pages back that some people were able to get their shipping fee waived however.

Didn't mean to sound snarky, that wasn't my intent. Sounds like we are on the same page, I apologize if it came off sounding rude.

like I mentioned before T-Mobile's customer service is very horrible they like to give certain things to certain customers and when you ask for the same in return they act dumb, I had something similar when the iPhone 6 first release 3 years ago it was a big dilemma I was able to get in the long run a $300 Bill credit for my problems now TMobile is very stingy they don't offer anything

*even two weeks ago I threatened them to change carriers and usually when you mentioned that they start offering you things, the sales rep didn't even mind she didn't call my bluff LOL 😂 😁 *

I'm pretty sure it depends on the rep and what call center you get. I've had pretty consistent luck with them on Twitter, but it's not uncommon for me to get 2 different answers when I call or ask a store employee. They are overall the best wireless company to deal with here in the States (which the bar is set pretty low), but they still have an internal communication problem from the top down. The Note 7 fiasco was a great example of that.

Yeah. They just said they value my business and understand how important this is and just the same old talking points. They don't need to know I'd never leave, but it still helps to have that card to play... even if they don't do anything about it.

But yeah, again, I'm not even "Shipped" so I'm a little more annoyed than everyone else...

for the Note 7 Fiasco all I got was a $50 bill credit and an upgrade to the iPhone 7 plus which they waived the payment because I'm on jump 2

That and the fact that the reps weren't sure what they were doing. One told me "nope, we aren't sending out loaner phones" and I called right back and the other rep was "you bet we are! What can I send you?" Consistency in the message they send customers has always been lacking

I've been with T-Mobile since late 2013 and I think that was the greatest time because at the time other carriers were still putting you on contracts once other carriers were doing the same that's when TMobile let go of the gas, honestly I'm not too happy with them I want to pay off my Note 8 and probably move to different carrier

and imagine this is a Samsung device you got to see the problems TMobile has when it's an Apple device you will lose your freaking mind LOL I've been through 2 apple pre orders with tmobile horrible. It's 10x worst then this

I second this. They need to fix things fast or they'll start to lose a lot of customers.
