Phonedog is reporting that T-Mobile is rolling out a Note8 BOGO on 9/1 ..... retroactive for those who pre-ordered!!!!

For one new line of service? Link?

I honestly don't think they would prepare shipping labels this far in advance

Maybe it means they actually have some inventory now that they can actually label product with. That's not a bad thing.

You have a Tracking # and see in route via the shipping company's web site?

It does show a tracking number but it doesn't say it's enroute. That would come from UPS and I am assuming they have not scanned into their system yet.

If history repeats itself they will probably sit at UPS for a week before they get shipped to us.

I saw it already. Thanks. I think it's pretty much already assumed at this point, but the stories should state in the headline "adding a new line of service". This probably benefits like 5% of all customers.
It would be nice if they just BOGO straight up. Even BOGO half off would be a great deal.

I thought they didn't charge you until they were ready to ship?

They take your payment info but the charge won't go through until it has shipped

The Tmobile site just changed my Note 8 from "Pre-order" to "Shipped." When I click, it takes me to the UPS site and says waiting for info.

You could just play the game with them. Add the new line, wait for 6-12 weeks or however long the prepaid card takes, cancel the line once you have the card.

It's going to be great for me, my wife and I are switching to TMobile next week....but I definitely understand what you mean. I should have added that to my original post.

After a label and tracking number are created it takes a day for it to register in the system, however I remember last year people had shipped status for a couple days before it actually did, I sure there is a high volume number of units to prepare
