My thought is that they already did. And the prices he got were AS OF NOW, not as of Feb. 4th (for example).

This statement alone shows that the pricing isn't accurate for Feb. Verizon is getting rid of the $15 data plan effective Feb. 1 and replacing it with a $10 plan for 75 mb but it can't be used for smartphones.

What she told you is what she was trained to say, she probably didn't even know they were changing it.

I really hope they will have an unlimited plan...I don't want to constantly stress about my data usage, I'm using a blackberry and constantly on it but I never use that much data somehow but I've heard using one of these phones, you can easily double it..don't know if that's true or not...sorry for the run-on sentence

I have two blackberrys on my plan as well. I have them both on the 150mb a month plan and they never even come close. Blackberrys don't have the ability to use a lot of data to put it simply. They weren't built for that. If you ask me they are just a glorified feature phone, I don't even see how they count as a smart phone.

It all depends on the user. My wife and I are long-time Blackberry users (soon to be converting to Thunderbolts) and she uses about 8-900 MB a month while I use closer to 2.5-3 GB. I have mine tethered though.

GREAT WORK GUYS. i go to sleep, wake up an everyone chatted with verizon over night lol. this is some awesome teamwork. so we got some infor saying its going to be the 13th. an still same unlimited data for 30 bones. seems if u talk to a rep that actually knows there job, not just there for a paycheck you can get some info

my belief is early adapters will get to take advantage of 4g unlimited but once 4g is in more locations......that tiered data will show up.

yea i think Verizon will stick with normal pricing for 4g until it becomes available in more areas. Im ok with that. I really with they would keep unlimited in the future however. Even if it cost an extra 10 bucks. I really prefer unlimited.

Christopher: To my knowledge we won;t be charging extra like Sprint, but we have no info on data yet. I would expect something maybe a week before the launch
