yeah but you would think they wouldnt pull a bb storm again. dont thing the TB will be but the XOOM is shaping up to be that way. that said i would gladly take a TB bugs and all right now and wait patently for a OTA update.
I'm fine with waiting for a phone to be ready then get a rushed out one, but I just want an official release date from Verizon.
I'm with the minority on this one also. I would rather a completed phone at release than one full of issues. I would like some kind of date but I'd rather have a bug-free phone. At least Android corrects the issues OTA if there are any. I won't have to wait for a leak and install a hybrid.

My only reason for wanting it to come out on the 24th is because I want plenty of you experts to get your hands in it and test it out before I get mine. I am waiting for you all to be the Guinea pigs...hehehe
QFT! For a while there, I was incredibly anxious when all of the blogs would posts these various dates, getting frustrated at Verizon for not delivering on their promises. Then I realized that VZW hasn't made any official announcement regarding the release date for this phone. All we've been getting were just leak of the behind the scene stuff that regular consumers wouldn't/shouldn't(?) care for. Before the interweb and spies, we would only hear of the announcements and wait patiently for the phone to be released. That aside, if the phone is being worked on at breakneck pace to be released ahead of its March release date (according to black_man_x),then I'm all for it, as long as the phone will work as promised. I hope to read an official announcement of the release date from VZW soon.

I wonder if the Thunderbolt is ready but it's Verizon's LTE newtwork that's the holdup. AT&T had no problem releasing the Inspire. While the Bolt's hardware is more complex than the Inspire's it's still nothing that difficult for HTC. Verizon has still not released specifics on their LTE service for handsets and all the Bolts' ads focus on 4G.
THANK YOU!! People go back and watch the CES announcement and hear the lady say "Some devices coming as early as march!!!!" as EARLY as march and now we were told the 14th by best buy and everyone wants to pull out the pitchforks for a riot that is just dumb in my opinion. Yes the vz tweet didn't help but that could have still meant early march rather than the end of march. Also I think the LTE issue has gone on longer than expected but that is why they said march and have not made an official announcement otherwise.

I really hate doing this, but people are tweeting to droid-life that verizon store employees are receiving emails about the phone being bumped from the 24th to Mon. 28th. Enjoy.
