Regardless, I've always been a fan of WebOS, so I'm interested to live with it for a few days. Hopefully the hardware isn't too too terrible. (but again, for $60 for a new and sealed Pixi, you won't hear me complaining.)

Web Os is really nice. Unfortunately their phones are very unappealing to me. If they put it on a HTC device, then we'd have something. Although i saw a video of the HpVeer. Ridiculously fast. Fastest multitasking i have ever seen.

Well, This phil posts a date and now he is wrong, That made everyone go from yay to i hate verizon/tbolt. So either he was right and the tbolt got delayed or he trusted the wrong source. I'd love for him to post and give an explanation.

You're misleading. You said "I'll post a pic of the Thunderbolt" yet omit that it's a dummy unit. Why not edit your post to say "I'll post a pic of the dummy unit"?

I worked for VZW too. Forums have more info than we have access to.

When I did find info (which was usually maybe a day before and was rare to get) I leaked it to CrackBerry and Android Central. Pics, PDFs, Rebate Forms. Never had an issue. If you're smart about it you'll not get it linked back to you.

Well he's obviously not going to post a pic of the real phone. To do that he'd have to open up a box and pull it out. Can't imagine his bosses would look to kindly on that.

Honestly, he's the most believable insider we've had on here yet. That he forgot to add 'dummy' to his post doesn't change that. (and besides, how many people would have access to that?)

Yeah. If I was to ever buy a tablet, it would be a WebOS tablet. Don't get me wrong, I love Android and iOS, but I think WebOS is just on a whole different level when it comes to the user experience.

This is getting stupid. Phil was wrong, whether it was his fault or not. His source told him the 24th, and he relayed it. Why does that make him a bad person? He got information that was probably originally correct, and got delayed.

Joe is trying to help. Why can't you guys embrace the fact that he's trying to help us, and just accept that the 28th is the next reasonable date that we've all been hearing.

The ONLY credible source that I've seen regarding the TBolt has been Black_man_x. Everyone else has just been throwing crap against the wall and hoping something sticks. When black_man_x says the Bolt is coming... I'll believe it.

Is it sad that I'm more excited about a PALM PIXI (!) that I'll be getting tomorrow and using until I get the Bolt, than I am about the Bolt at this point?

Damn you Verizon, you've burned me out on a phone! Just give it to us already, damnit!

I'm using the Pixi Plus right now too. It was cool for the first day or two, and now after a week I'm pretty much done with it.

Love webOS (except it needs more app support, the only Google Voice app available is mediocre), but the phone is just a bit too slow, keyboard is way too small, and the battery drains quickly if you use it a lot.

But it's fine for a temporary phone.

I am getting to that point as well. Anytime someone post any info they think someone might want to read, they get pounced on, called a liar etc. If you choose not to beleive them or thier sources that is fair, but to come on and belittle someone, this is why some stated just a few days ago the other android forum seems to be more civil.

Yea saw that one as well. it however always get to how it is run, moderated etc. I am by far not any position to critiazize them, the job is hard, difficult to keep the masses civil. Was liek this when the Incredible was about to come out as well. If you can't say something nice, then shut up..lol Okay they don't have to shut-up, but can questions someones info whithout talkign down, or calling them names etc.

So now this thread can be officially known as the "Thunderbolt Release Date Speculation Thread". Kudos to Phil for working hard to find info, things change, I still take what Phil says as rock solid.

As far as people being nasty to others for presenting information and ideas...I can see where they are coming from. I have been reading AC and the forums for a long time, but just recently started posting. There are alot of people that come here and troll. Its a fact. People have grown skeptical. Its like that for this launch, and was the same way for the Dinc. We don't have a lot of information, and when things come out of left field from people who have low post counts, it does in fact look suspicious. But, everyone just remember...we're all here for the same reason, except for the trolls, and I hear if you don't feed them, they go away. So be nice.

Back on topic, the 28th and 3rd/4th seem like the next set of dates, O.G.incredible posted in this thread some pictures of a Tbolt in the wild, and said the people where he was at a "VIP Event" told him March 3rd/4th. This is our best lead for now. So I'm hopeful.
