I'm not mad, I'm disgusted, frustrated with my Storm1 and impatient. All these rumors and the fact that they think the freaking iPhone is sooooo special that they delay other phones for it is ridiculous. I said it before and I'll say it again, if you want an iPhone you'll buy an iPhone whether the Thunderbolt is available or not. If you don't want an iPhone you won't buy it. Their (lack of) logic absolutely baffles the living daylights out of me. The fact that Apple has such little faith in their phone that they're afraid people will buy it and then exchange it for a Thunderbolt is really pathetic.

It wasn't delayed by the iPhone, it was delayed because of software issues. (And that's assuming that there was a delay at all) The iPhone was on sale for all Verizon customers starting on the 3rd, which would have left an 11 day gap between the iPhone launch and the ThunderBolt's. Any verizon customer that wanted an iPhone would have already had it, and anyone else that wanted them would have either bought it online or went to the store on the 10th.

If you honestly think Verizon delayed the TBolt because of the iPhone, I don't know what to tell you, other than you're wrong.

It has recently come to our attention that some of you are having some issues related to Verizon's first LTE Smartphone. These issues include:
A exclusive partnership with Best Buy Inc. that included a pre-order target date of February 14th
Verizon's CES statement that the device would be available in Q1 2011
Verizon's current status of not releasing avaialibility dates until right before launch.

First I would like to say that I am actually typing this message on my new Thunderbolt and it is just awesome. Secondly, If you are not currently under contract, just relax, the only reason to go to AT&T is the iphone....no wait, we have that now. If you are under contract, well, that is why we have a contract with you, so you dont get your panties in a wad when we are about to launch a new phone.

In conclusion, Rock on Android Nation...you will absolutely love playing Angry Birds on this cool new phone!

Sorry to take a lama dump on the parade but I'm just baffled as to why people are calling Radio shacks and best buy's? You mine as well call Burger King and the local bar down the street too. No need to get bitter with me tho cuz I'm voicing the facts. As far as contributions to the site, that I cannot give. Simply because of what you already stated, "there is no launch date, nothing has been confirmed, wait for VZW, etc. etc. etc."

I want the phone too man, but damn... y'all need to have a beer and relax for a quick second. Just sayn'.

In essence they are allowed to contribute griping and threats to leave VZW & the TBolt for other phones over nearly 60 pages and counting but you are not allowed to say anything about patience over 1/3 of a page.

I thought this site was for enthusiast-- crazed and logical alike
