Thats what I was wondering. A very well respected admin started this thread and we haven't heard back fro him since. I wish he would retract it or confirm it.

i've seen him link to this thread few days ago in another thread but as far as i know he hasn't directly commented on recent rumors of it being pushed back from the 24th so either he still firmly believes it's 24th or he is unsure and does not want to comment thats what i think anyway, i'm hoping its that he's still sure it's 24th and that he's right i want my Thunderbolt damn it lol

I want him to be wrong to be honest. Should be a good wake up call for everyone next time a new phone comes out... not to listen to bloggers & so called 'sources' anymore. I'm waiting for the phone too btw, but it's prob for the best if everyone is wrong then we have all learned a lesson for next time. My 2 cents at least.

There's two different bloggers. There's one that posts the facts despite what subscribers want. And there's the type of blogger that will post any story just to get attention.

he was most likely told from a legit source but sometimes unforseen problems arise that can push things back so even if it isn't here in 2 days that doesn't mean vzw wasn't planning on 24th at the time Phil told us that

Spoke to a VZW rep just now. Brand-new store, so they should be fairly in-the-loop. Rep told me it was not even in their system anymore, no dates, no SKUs, nothing. He floated the 24th as a date they were told, but he said they'd have heard more about it by now if that date was any good. But he did say that their phones typically launch on Thursdays, so check back periodically.

Few things I noticed a minute ago

1. The New HTC ad on VZW's youtube page now has the coming soon tag added like many people saw on Tv but was not originally on the youtube ad

2. VZW put 3 new 15 second ads on their youtube page about 4GLTE and saying that its here

The only thing I don't understand is why the LTE ads now, considering its been since December when the usb modems could use the network?

if you guys have read my previous posts I wrote that I had few guys in various verizon stores that I asked to call me once they got any new information

a guy from the woodbridge, NJ store called me today saying that they just had a corporate rep in their store that dropped off some promotional material and a dummy unit.. the rep then told them the phone will def. not be available for sale in Feb. and to look for it around the second or third week of March.

Will the price for the Bolt be the same in VZW stores as it is online? I'd prefer to preorder it but if they're not doing preorders I'll swing by my VZW store at opening assuming the online price is the same as in store.

Yea I signed up for the updates as soon as that option when up on Verizon's website which was over a month ago and have never received anything about the Thunderbolt. I suspect we will get an "update" when the phone is released.
