I just got off the phone the htc ceo. The problems is the left screw that holds down the speaker phone. It causes radiation poisoning in white mice. All units are being recalled and new ones will arrive in the stores on Feb 31st. This is NOT a rumor, it's a confirmed fact, verified by the inter web.

Thats interesting considering i just talked to the president and he said it was because aliens had implanted their embryo behind the thunderbolts impressive 4.3 inch screen and upon their alien master's command they will bolt out of the thunderbolt and into our brains turning us into their slaves for all of eternity.

yes i agree. they have been playing an awful lot of commercials not to be releasing the phone soon.

that said they may not actually release in the coming days. but maybe were intending to.

FedEx, UPS, and whoever else Verizon uses to ship their junk have essentially finished their routes for the day on the East Coast.

UPS and FedEx have always gone from 9AM until 7PM, unless it's recently been switched (as in the last couple months). Plus there's non-regular hours.

I wouldn't factor this into anything personally.

i don't see how BB gets the phones in stock before VZW stores.

they wouldn't release a phone without announcing till the day of. Maybe a day or 2 before. But not on the day its in stores.

Just got off the phone with 3 BBs in my area two said it was pushed back till the 28th or sometime in March because the phone is having a hard time switching from LTE back to 3G. Supposedly a Verizon rep told them. One mobile BB in a mall was still sure they were getting them in tomorrow.
We don't know anymore than we did a week ago. I never usually get caught up in a phone release frenzy yet here I am.

If you believe what BMX tweeted recently, this is true.

Hell, just go look at the comments on the LTE air cards. They have the crappiest reviews I've ever seen. Most of the complaints were around switching from 4G to 3G and if you didn't have 4G service making sure you could still get connected to 3G.

Some of that may be the hardware in those devices but I'm sure a component may be the network hardware/configuration.

What's bizarre though, is why they would just be finding this out now. It has to be something else ... because if it's a network switching issue, Black Man X and all the other QA folks and network engineers need to be fired.

Well wouldnt that be a LTE handoff issue that delayed the phone at first? i thought they already fixed that...Im glad verizon is fixing these problems because at the end of the day if you live where there is LTE and its not connecting right all of us would be starting a new thread how much the phone doesnt do what its suppose to do and how much the TB is dumb and Verizon is dumb. If i can survive with a LG Rumor Touch you all can survive till this phone is released and when we have it in our hands we will all know LTE and 3g are working just how its suppose too. Too be honest, I dont even bother calling verizon or best buy cause they have no idea what they are talking about. We are all more knowledgeable then BB employess or just as knowledgeable. They just tell you these dates cause thats what their computers say and watch tomorrow it will be feb 28th then the first week in march. Verizon will announce it when they know the phone is up to par. That be said hows everyones day going?

Yes the 24th is a bust, yes BB did not pull there dates out of a hat, we have to assume that they were given a target date (not promised....but the target")....yes verizon would love to sell us their new android monster today if they could, but they cannot because something is not kosher yet, yes verizon is playing their cards close...at the expense of people like us, yes verizon in the long run is doing what they do...when it is ready they will launch, yes we are going crazy, yes we are getting POed at other people for going crazy....but we should be nice to eachother. The Verizon and BB dudes (and ladies) who are on our post are in good company and should not have to feel like it is their fault. We know it is not...if they give us the "this is what I heard"...most of us know..it is one small piece of data...not the big announcement. So try to think on these things as we post.

You do understand that Verizon doesn't ship them using regular Fed-ex or UPS, right? They would be using the Freight services for both of them, which would include delivery at any time the contract they have with Verizon says. This would likely include after-hours delivery so they could do it when the store is closed.

Now Im sure everybody can see why Verizon never announced a release date. Phone is probably very close but not quite ready with a bug or two to iron out. It will be here soon enough.
