Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

So, around 7 pm eastern tonight, my phone shows that I received an email from Verizon-Notification with the part of the subject that i could see right away stated "Your Wait for the Verizon ". I got all excited thinking this was finally the Thunderbolt announced. Turns out once I opened it up it was for my Verizon FIOS dvr. I think someone over at Verizon has a sick sense of humor.

Lol, my email was more ridiculous, it was telling me the iphone4 is being released today! So helpful

I saw that and thought the same. I was totally behind them because they personally hadn't released a date and perhaps BBY jumped the gun but that tweet was so *******-ish. I would rather they didn't respond at all then say something like that.

I agree .. They just should have kept quiet instead of that useless peep of theirs.

You'll see pictures tomorrow of our t-shirts that we have to wear for the launch.

It will be made official on the 24th, But be sold on the 28th. That's why there is confusion on dates.

Thank you. I used to enjoy coming here to check out latest an chat with you guys. Now its getting dumb with a new thread evey 5 mins about how someone called best buy an they said they got the phone collecting dust in the back room. We know ther is a delay/ nothin official yet. Lets just stick the facts until further info comes out. Sure drop info. But leave the verizon rep chats best buys calls out.

I also just received an email from Verizon... automatically thinking its a release date since I signed up for notifications.. turns out.. its info about the recent changes to my account. Sold my DX and I'm running on Blackberry right now. Should have known better... pure evil.

I totally agree bro. My post count stays low because I read alot and know my info sometimes is redundant due to others being similar. So I stray away from posting.

I have to say that is pretty harsh unless you know him personally. I don't, but I have read enough of what he posts to know the info he gets has been good and anything in life can change in an instant. No one can predict the future, and your attitude will only serve to keep others like Miami from offering their info up at all.

This is a forum for those who are interested, enthusiasts and are willing to take that leap on inside intel. It is not anyone's fault other than Big Red Verizon.

That excitement for the Pixi will be gone after the first hour of using it. I just recently got a Pre as a replacement phone till the thunderbolt comes out and after using webos for a couple of hours I was sorely missing android.
