Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

Nobody DESERVES to be flamed. It's definitely ok to disagree and present arguments to the contrary. But a large % of the posts in this thread are straight flame posts.

Everybody wants this phone to be released. Trust me. As has been stated in numerous threads it'll be out when it's ready. And hopefully it'll be bug free.

There ain't no "hopefully" about it... this phone goes back if it lags for .0004 seconds when I touch an icon, especially if it slides to Q2. At that point, it better **** ** without me even getting it drunk fist.

Engadget is reporting HTC Thunderbolt delayed until March 4th, says a Best Buy store with a Twitter account.

Don't know why they reported this particular tweet. We know by now not to trust what BB says. Its best to wait for word directly from VZW.

You don't have to read the rumor thread if you don't want. You can easily wait for an announcement from VZW or continue to contact BB to see when the phone is "officially" released. There are also plenty of non-release date threads in here for your viewing pleasure.

An unsourced rumor? Yes. But I am extremely fairly confident that I'm right about this one. Still no word on 4g data plans, however.

I'll add to the Verizon Rep stories( I already posted this info a few days ago).... but a few forums are claiming $30 and when I spoke to a Verizon Rep two days ago he also confirmed it would be $30. He didn't know about a release date for the Thunderbolt but when I asked him about 4G data plans... he confirmed it would be the same $30 price as the 3G plan. Problem is, if that's true... will it stay at $30 or will they raise it in a few months. I would think once your locked into a contract, they can't raise it until it has ended.

I would 'think' that they would announce it at least a week before launch. I mean, the iPhone was a pretty big deal, and how soon before that came out was it made public?

Did you catch a date on the phone's homescreen at the end of the commercial? I'm looking for any kind of sign, but its good that it doesn't say "coming soon" or "muy pronto" haha.
