Ah... the elusive Froyo for the Fascinate... its like Harvey the Rabbit... and maybe even Santa Claus... if we dream it, will it come? Verizon is out to test our patience, let them ride the Iphone wave then maybe they can get back to their Fascinate users...

How exactly did you read that Verizon has had froyo for three months from a article about tmo?
Verizon has had it for MAYBE a week, if that.
T-Mobile reportedly said that Samsung released Froyo to all the carriers in November.

Well adrenilyne. I was quoting the cmo of tmobile, who said samsung gave froyo to tmobile in nov. Which by coincidence was the original date that samsung said it would release froyo. But atlas you are right I said 3 months when I should of said 2 months. My bad. Anyway I was just venting a little steam after I read the article. Sometimes common sense is my foe.

I thought there was an article back in late nov or beg of dec that said that they had released it to all US carriers?
So, T-Mobile and Sprint have talked about their Galaxy S phones getting a FroYo update. How come Verizon and ATT haven't? Are they too big to give a flying dinosaur?
Boy I'm sure glad I found this forum. I used to hunt the web every so often looking for info on when the Froyo update was coming. But now that I've found this site I'm confident that there will be a post with all the details within 10 seconds of some actual substantiated news!
Reading this thread totally makes me glad that I bought my phone on the 3rd of Jan. I'm not that good with patience and feel like, "hey! I dodged the wait-game bullet". I got my fascinate from Costco, and no promises of updates came for from the agent. I'm rather pleasantly surprised about it. Ready for some push notification problems to GO AWAY...

Ignore any articles from Khabrein. They are in India and post meaningless articles just so your search finds them. Absolutely useless.
Best advice I can give you -- be cautious with the information you read on the interwebs. If you can only find it on ONE site, and it's some site that's not like AC, Engaget, PCMag, or something along those lines, chances are it's bogus
