Will you use Verizon again when your contract is up

I don't want to stay with VZW. I switched from Sprint mainly because of the Nexus (didn't know Sprint would get it later plus $50 in Google wallet) and joining my family on their family plan. But no update or decent accessories for the phone kinda make me want to switch. Either after my contract or before. Either back to Sprint (service is decent in Seattle) or T-Mobile. Love the phone. Hate VZW.

Maybe its just me, but I'd rather have slow updates on a fast, widespread network, then quicker updates on a slow, crappy network.

Since I ...always....always...choose carrier first, phone 2nd. Yea. The wild card is AT&T ...my PS Vita gets better data reception in my apt than any smartphone I had on Verizon.

Sprint and T Mo just suck in my area and/or places I hang out the most. So I go where the carrier works best for me.

Forgot about the unlimited data. I also am more willing to leave because of that than anything. Carrier service dictates where I go. Not phones, not how they handle updates. I have unlimited data....so thats like the last perk they have. I did almost switch when the Atrix came out. AT&T service in my area surprised me.

I like Verizon service, I hate their billing. I've been with them for 3 years and will renew my contract tomorrow to get the Nexus. I sure do wish they had rollover though :'(

Updates aren't totally the carrier's fault. If the updates were ready I'm sure they would be released. The issue most likely is they don't want to flood stores and customer service lines with folks wanting to fix buggy phones (can you blame them). I have a BB storm2 for my cel & a Xoom wifi for my tablet. I get Xoom updates from Google months before cellular devices, been using ICS since Jan on it.

I wouldn't expect the wait times for cellular devices to get any better as phones OSs are being more advanced along with the vast number of active devices. I'm supposed to finally turn off my Storm2 tomorrow for the Verizon Nexus. any advice?

Just think I can reminisce about the old days when everyone would use AIM & BBM, lol.

I am now a dedicated Nexus guy and I left T-Mobile only to get the Gnex. A few months later, Google decided to sell the T-Mobile version for $399  So while the HSPA+ version gets updates fast, great accessories at fair price, we get stuck with long waits for updates and crap overpriced accessories.

My next Nexus will not be on CDMA network. Hopefully in 21 months T-Mobile has its LTE network blazing so I can run back there.

Yes because of coverage. I recently chose to stick with Verizon and upgrade to a GNex because their network has the best reception in my area. I'm not happy with how they find ways to raise prices, but I never complain about poor signal. I made sure to upgrade to keep unlimited data, but who knows what will happen in 2 years.

That's what I'm wondering. Since when your contract is up they can change whatever they want. If you don't like it, you can part ways with no etf's. I know they've said otherwise, but who knows what they are gonna do next year.

I am sticking with Verizon, been with them since 2000, I have had no issues with customer service, its actually been great, and they have let me upgrade early several times. They have the best coverage, period. Also, I have three lines with unlimited data and messaging, plus 1400 minutes, and pay $164 a month after the wife's 18% discount on the main line. I have one upgrade left to burn, hoping for SGS3 before tiered kicks in. Otherwise I will never upgrade my lines, and will just buy my phones in the forums.

Made the switch to Sprint two years ago and much happier and better phones to choose from.;):):D:thumbup:
