Anyone else having issues with the Hotspot with this ROM?
My 3g and 4g would signal bounce when I had Hotspot enabled (aftermarket app) and connected a computer to it. Thought it was the new radio until I restored the RC5.0pre nadroid backup and it works fine. I did a full wipe before installing 4.9. Could it be kernal related?

what app are you using? this is a common problem for all thunderbolts even stock when using the stock mobile hotspot app, maybe other 3rd party apps too. try wifi tether (2.0.7), this solved the problem for me. its blocked in the market but you can get it here.

Yes that is the app I am using, I should have included that in the original post, my bad. It didn't work on rc4.9 does again on rc5.0pre, kinda strange. I upgraded the app to the newest one and I even downgraded the radio to make sure it wasn't in the new radio Verizon pushed out. A soon as I rolled back to the nandroid backup bam it works again even with the new radio.
So yours is currently working on RC4.9 with the new radio (.0625r) and the kernel that comes with the ROM?
ya wifi tether works for me on bamf 3.0 rc49 on official (non verizon) mr2 radio.
i want an app that'll let me usb tether though...
Is anybody else of issues with the texts not threading right? It's putting my texts on the bottom half and there's on the top so I have to scroll up every time to see the reply. Any ideas?
This is caused when the area code for your phone originates from a different time zone that you currently reside in. Not sure why it didn't come up until GB, but it's annoying. Luckily, there's a really great fix. SMS Time Fix (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mattprecious.smsfix&feature=search_result). Install that, and it's pretty straight forward. Set your time zone adjustment, then forget you even have it. I've had no problems after installing this.
Not surprising. Hats off to the developers with everything they put up with cause there's no way I'd have the patience to deal with half the crap they do on a daily basis.
Is there ever gonna be a voicemail notification fix? If I get a VM, I have to look at the notification for days until it mysteriously disappears after a while... So far after flashing this an hour or so ago, I'm having problems with my backed up apps not being recognized by the market, so I can't update them without uninstalling the ones already on my phone, and didn't I read that swipe was in this build?
