And also, is anyone else having a problem when they try to shut down the phone it just goes into hibernate? I don't like that, but it was happening on RC5 too... Hence the main reason I flashed 4.9, but it doesn't seem to work any better... I am getting my texts again though, so thats nice! And when do we get a FORCE 4g, I don't want to use 3g EVER! and every once and a while it'll switch for a couple minutes, I need a 4g only toggle where if I don't get 4g, it won't switch back and forth between the radios and waste power, just no data untl a 4g signal is back up.

I a NOT a fan of google voice, I don't need ANOTHER # to give out just to use the services already on my phone. And scratch that, I'm STILL not getting my text messages. This might be it for me and BAMF...

I flashed coming from rc5preview and now im getting terrible battery life.Its a great rom, everything works great other than the battery life. But the battery life is really, really bad. Im getting less than 3 hours not touching the phone at all. I just tried reflashing so maybe that will fix it. But if not does anybody know of anything i could do? is anybody else having this problem?

Sounds like you have something eating the battery. Have you tried wiping?

I'm having no issues with the battery life, if you have tried to re-flash after a full wipe and that didn't work I would suggest on downloading again and then full wipe and flash and that should solve your issue with the battery life. You could also try a different kernel and see if that helps.

You don't have to give out a different number. You can have calls to your existing mobile number go to your google voicemail.

This is 100% correct and google voice is fantastic. It transfers your voice mails to text for you in a widget even.

you could go into the bamf toolkit and choose LTE settings.
Set your preferred network type to: LTE mode
I believe that should make it 4G only and stop the battery draining cdma scanning.
if your not on a bamf rom type *#*#4636#*#* and go into phone information and you can access that setting.

are there any apps that will restore your applications without you having to keep pressing install then done. I remember that with windows mobile you could backup everything and it would just restore it without you having to do anything. Haha i know that sounds like im lazy. but im just wondering if im doing it the hard way.

I use My Backup Pro, it takes awhile depending on how many apps you have, but you don't have to do anything while it's doing it.

My last 3 full wipes produced an interesting result. Once I open up the market, it immediately starts reinstalling all my apps without me doing anything. I can't be the only one, is anyone else having this happen?

That's normal. It just doesn't restore app data. Google apparently has the framework there for cloud backup but none of the developers use it.
