[7.14.11][ROM] Das BAMF Sense 3.0 RC4.9

That's normal. It just doesn't restore app data. Google apparently has the framework there for cloud backup but none of the developers use it.

Ok, cool. It keeps me from having to remember to back with titanium. I never restored app data anyway so this is really good.

TiB sux IMO. That is why I only use google to back up ALL my apps, I don't mind restoring any app data that I have on my sd card... ie, wall papers and stuff with ZEDGE app

This ROM would be PERFECT.... IF i could just modify the far right rosie button to take me to messages instead of personalize... other than that.. I have no compliants so far

launchkey will allow you to do it on longpress of the search button. [APP] LaunchKey - xda-developers

I like and have used launchkey but take it one step further.

Anyone have problems using Cisco VPN?

The deciding factor that made me root was to be able VPN into our network and do various administrative tasks on our network from my phone. I was able to download the approriate tun.ko module and use VPNC widget to connect on the stock rom.

On BAMF Sense 3.0 RC4, VPN worked great for me without having to download any tun.ko modules. However when I tried RC4.9 I cannot connect because it cannot find tun.ko module.

I found a way to remap the right rosie button to your choosing... here is the link to rootwiki with the info and zip file... it works for 4.9. i just tried it :) after you flash it in CWM, it will be located in your app drawer as "rosie settings" and you can actually designate anything you want, EVEN sms... the only thing it doesn't due is change the icon on the right rosie..no biggie... enjoy ;) tell you friends

[MOD] Rosie Sense 3.0 [Right Button Mapping]

I just finished installing and setting up 4.9 just for the fun of it.

I am overall liking this ROM BUT... it seems to be devouring my battery life (with extended battery) and I don't know what.... I have tried to figure everything i know out... could it be the 3d or just the size of the ROM? I am dropping almost 10 percent an hr!!!

I'm getting problems with my voicemail..

I get them super late and when I try to delete, the notification doesnt disappear

The voicemail is a known issue with the sense roms. You can use google voice for free

your local smart ass on a BAMF 3.0 THUNDERBOLT

I too will vouch for the fact that its destroying my battery. I rooted and installed this rom. I fully wiped everything 3 times before installing the rom also so i doubt its because of that.

I've two occasions where my phone has locked up and took a long time to reboot or respond at all with this ROM. I'll give it till tommorow but I'm sure ill have to ditch this.

Shame too, I've heard so many good things about bamf and this is my first experience with it.

I was wondering if anyone realized that the volume playback for video recording is too loud...I don't recall anyone posting about this.

I had issues with it so I went back to 4. Let us know what you think.

I love Team BAMF so I'll just say 2 things.

Remix 2.1 was my last favorite or go to, still have the nandroid.

I'm back on my last known rom since about 3 how ago.

I don't know if you like this ROM or not? I do (which is odd cuz I HATE sense) but the battery life is horrible man... I am not a noob and know how to properly sync things and all that stuff, I even did battery stats again... I will give this a few more days and if it doesn't improve then its off to another ROM... I loved inject but the camcorder and a few minor things didn't work right... I really wish I could get NAV to work for CM7 cuz i would be all over it!!! sometimes I miss my Dinc :)

I liked if for what it was, but I missed way to many custom settings and the butter smoothness that I got used to. Had too much lag and force closes for me.

Just installed this ROM. Everything is great except I am unable to download from the Market. Keep getting download unsuccessful error message. Things I've tried already:

- unmounting SD card then restarting
- battery pull then remove SD card then put back in
- Force stopping the market and clearing the cache

None have worked. Please help. Thanks!

Ahhh, not this again. First, I would give it a few days because people report it just starts working again sometimes. You could also try going to manage applications and going to anything market related and deleting data an cache, but that doesn't ever seem to work. Worst case is a factory reset which seems to get a lot of people going. Make a nandroid backup, and go wipe everything and do a factory reset to see if you can get it working. If it starts working you should be able to restore your nandroid with the market still working.

I can dig it. In the search for better battery I have been bouncing back and forth between RC4 and Liquid Thunderbread. LTB runs very smooth and I don't have to overclock. My battery is still draining like running water though.

Well after only 6 hrs my batter was at fiftly percent, Unacceptable!!! so I reflashed my good friend 2.1 Stripped... and love it again :)
