As for the people above, have you considered google voicemail? It is basically the same as visual voicemail but it also transcribes your message, AND sprint fully integrates with google. All you need is to setup a google voice account(DONT integrate your google phone number with sprint, choose a different one, it doesnt matter too much what the number is as you dont need to use it), setup your mobile number as your default google voice phone, down load the google voice app from market, and go to setting in google voice(website) and activate voicemail. It is actually simpler than it sounds.

Thanks duder! I removed sprint voicemail and signed up for google voice online. I chose the option to only use for voicemail and followed the on screen instructions to complete the setup. Downloaded the app and skipped integration. Called myself from an outside line and left a VM and everything worked perfectly. Also I don't get the annoying txt from 9016 anymore....yay!

Can anybody confirm if UOT kitchen works with Drews ROM ?

Wow, great job on the rom! I saw the new stable version and decided to switch. I ALMOST flashed this rom to try it, but I was waiting to see what was going to be in the next build you were releasing. When you say stable, your right, this build is fast, sleek, feature rich, and fully integrated into this phone. Absolutely amazing!

Ok you all Missed my point, I do not have either VVM or GoggleVoice installed (I am not worried about a visual voicemail App). What I am talking about is when ever I turn phone on or reboot up at the top in the notification pulldown I have a sysmbol for voicemail, When I pull down the notification bar it says I have 2 voicemails, when I don't! I always have to hit clear to get ride of it!
And this is not exclusive to this rom, it did the same thing on Ath3nos Rom.

Drew has posted the fix to this issue many tines. I would find it for you but I'm on my phone so its not as easy. Look through this thread and ath3nos cm7 thread. I know it is in one of them.

So I thought phone stopped working during phone calls, but it seems that moving the volume lower than around 60% causes it to be muted.

Any way to fix this or is it a CM7 issue?

I've also noticed this but thought was a one time occurrence. I suppose its a bug.

I have the same error, except I'm getting 1 voicemail notification. This isn't exclusive to this particular ROM, as I had this error on the Scott Pilgrim ROM as well. I'm not sure what island causing it, but I think it's something more server-side on Sprint's end. I bet if you switched to another ROM you'll get the same error.

edit: Also using Google Voice, but I'm not sure how related that is.

also,

is about what most people are doing, with the possibility of not reporting which build, but it's usually implied that it's the latest one I don't see this "complaining" you're talking about, and I really don't know what your problem is.

I think the topic is done. Any member who reads my posts can read I don't have a problems. I've called you "friend" "buddy" said "sorry" and even "just ignore me" and you say you don't know what my problem is. You're the one thinking I was talking to you when my post was up before yours. Guilty conscience? Again check the freaking time stamps dude. For the record I don't have a problem and for like the 3rd time: I'm sorry if I offended you. But Im not gonna bicker with you all night. Act your age

Regarding Tonight's Experimental Build:

Tonight's experimental build is currently undergoing a short testing stage to make double sure that the glaring issues in the previous build got fixed correctly. Pending review, tonight's build will be published within the next 1-2 hours.

Drew hasn't made any changes to the camera code that's all on the IHO and CM side, I would suggest reading through the issues on that end, there is one on the IHO issue tracker referring to the sliders I'm not sure if that's what you are describing or not.

Otherwise I'm not sure I understand what you are describing, do you have more info?

Working flawlessly. I haven't try Bluetooth...will report data2ext 1g works

[INFO]Tonight's experimental build has completed testing and is currently being uploaded.

Note: my upload speed is suddenly horrendously slow and it is currently unknown when exactly the upload will be complete. But it IS uploading.

Update: my bandwidth died and my FTP client died along with it. Trying to upload again, please be patient.[/INFO]

i dont think the issue is with camera code. when i am in the camera app the viewport shows a grid overlay but the grid doesnt show on the picture. also youtube in low res mode has a similar grid. a reboot generally fixes it temporarily. none of ath3nos's builds nor drews builds until yesterdays had this issue. i tried to do a screen shot but the viewport goes black.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the developers here for turning our little low end phones into something special. With Drew's Tuesday stable build, bluetooth is working amazing on my phone and the integration to my car stereo has never been better. Together with ADW Launcher Ex (i feel it runs much smoother than the standard version), this phone even at a stock 600mhz runs super fast.

Tonight, I put on data2ext and now the phone reports .95 gig of free internal space :D (previously had 60meg free). It just gets better and better.

Cheers

Not sure if this is expected in CM7, really minor, but I notices that in my text messaging app it doesn't pull facebook contact photos like it does on a stock phone or with the froyo based roms. Yes, facebook sync is on. Anyone else notice that?

Anyway, otherwise great work. This is the first CM7 build I've tried where bluetooth was working well for me.

I use friendcaster and the contact photos all appear.

[INFO]Build Announcement:

The build which was supposed to be released last night is being released this morning, mainly because my bandwidth kept dying (and I passed out). But now it's released! I've added the in-ROM update mechanism for this build, but it will not be enabled until the 08/05/2011 build. Enjoy![/INFO]
