Yep, 32GB Graphite ordered 10/19. Order still shows 'Processing' on Huawei's website.

I ordered a 32g aluminum from Huawei on 10/25, was expecting it late November. Got the email that it was processing, nothing else. Then Google emailed and I ordered the same from them Thursday night. Its already shipped and is currently one state over. Monday arrival with the free delivery. Cancelled Huawei...

Sure wasn't though. It seems everyone else is getting them but for some reason mine is stuck in neutral. That's the part that irritates me. I ordered early in hopes of being among the first to receive one. Yet here I sit... Not real impressed

Seems only aluminium ones going out and that's the same even from Google. Google offered partial refunds for delays, I'm guessing for the graphite and frost colors.
Glad I ordered aluminium and it will be here on Monday.

Thing is, even though I have a tracking number email from ups. On Huawei website under my account it says complete but still has no shipping info updated. No tracking number or shipping company info. Just Huawei in house shipping number and date it supposedly left their hands. I think they got slammed last minute. I don't think they anticipated the phone to be as popular as it has been. Considering they were never a big player in the US. I think this was just an entry phone for them into the main stream of phones (at least here). All that considered, I think they were just slow to update everyone's account. Unfortunately you lucked out. Think some people just need to calm down and let the process run its course.

This. I'm not calling Huawei every other day or cancelling my order. This is Huawei's first major phone in the U.S. and there are bound to be growing pains. Am I anxious to get the Nexus 6P? Hell, yes I am but I'll get it sometime in the next couple of weeks. I can be patient a while longer.

I just can't bring myself to buy anything other than the graphite, I love that color so much. I guess that means I'll have to wait a little longer. :'(

Right! When I made this thread I was just seeing if my experience with Huawei was the same bc it was just odd how how little info was really know about them as a company (that being my opinion) and the lack of any REAL info on the phones ship date. That coupled with Huawei and Google letting theirs phone reps keep everyone watering at the mouth while the phone is released. This whole process has been odd to me at least. But then again the masses are used to companies releasing flagship phones like samsung. That's their bread and butter. While Nexus is important to Google, I did not expect them to carry out the release the same way as the heavy hitters. Especially considering they are using a unknown brand to alot of cell phone buyers. I think both Google and Huawei sat back on this one to see just how desirable the phone would actually be. What happened I don't think they expected. It took nearly a month to get a tracking number and by the time it arrives it will be almost a month to the day since I ordered it. While that's along time to most eager people haha, I expected it with all else considered.

You know, when I was placing my order I went back and forth on silver and black. One thing I haven't seen mentioned in reviews is how scratch resistant the paint or coating is. I have had my note 3 in a case for its entire life and clean it out more than once a month and the silver around the corners dulled out or scratched. Now that's with plastic which will usually take abrasions a little easier because of the softness. I was thinking that with the black it might show those little mishaps a little easier. Once again, just a personal opinion. Thing is if you drop any phone or are rough on your devices it will most likely show wear no matter what.

Not a "white" phone kinda person so Frost was out (and hasnt been in stock forever until just recently anyway)

I'm a little worried about fingerprints on the graphite, too. I usually carry a microfiber cloth in my pocket because I can't stand when my screen or the back of my phone gets too 'fingerprinty.'

I was more concerned about the black getting scratched. The way I see it, if the silver gets scratch it will be harder to see. Now if the black gets scratched, in my opinion, it will be easier to see because bare metal will show through. This is all an assumption that ultimately swung me to buy the silver model. I work in the electrical field and tend to be around dusty environments. Like all my phones, I keep them for along time. I've had my note 3 since the day it came out and plan on keeping the 6p hopefully longer. So I know somewhere down the road imperfections will ultimately pop up. Knowing it's a metal design and assuming somewhere down the road a scratch or 2 might happen I chose the closer to metal color haha.

I guess it really came down to not being Blue to hold it myself to see how well the finish is on it. That way I could make a decision on how "scratch" proof it is. My experience with painted metals (or how ever it's done) on products isn't so great. Always that one nick or scratch I can't seem to get passed bc of how noticeable it is.

My brother received his graphite 64gb 6p on Wednesday from Google. So I think the aluminum first thing is only with Huawei.

Same here. Unfortunately, Google doesn't have the most timely turnaround from announcement to actual availability. I fully expect two to four weeks between pulling the trigger and the phone showing up on my door. Excited though, my cases cane in two days ago, and the size in the hand is perfect.

Ordered the 64 gb Aluminum from Huawei on 10/26. Haven't heard anything beyond the initial emails, and the site still shows my order as processing. I'm not worried, I just hope to have my phone in my hand before I have to make my first monthly payment on 11/26, since I did the financing option.
