You can do nandroid backups with real names in cwm, it just takes a few extra steps. After you do your nandroid, boot phone, plug into pc with debugging on, mount sd card, go to clockworkmod folder, go to backups, right click on your nandroid and choose rename. Done. No more need for rom manager.
Understood, and that's exactly what I do now. It is a PITA and it can only be done when I have a computer handy.

Putting bad feelings about the RM Fascinate support situation aside, I REALLY like ROM Manager and hope to see it working for us once again. I would not have purchased the Premium version if I didn't like what the program did - I believe in supporting developers of programs I find useful.
I know this is a "Boycott ROM Manager and Trash Koush" thread but it looks like he has responded to the feedback and has done something about it. I am just trying to figure out what it means.
