[ROM] [04.19.11] BAMF Remix 1.5 - New base RUU plus more! *UPDATE*

Anybody know how to change the shortcuts on the bottom dockbar? Specfically the internet button on the right. It opens to the stock browser...is there a way I can change it to open another browser, i.e. Firefox, Dolphin, Miren, etc.?

No I did not know I needed to. But would the internet close because I had no flash

BTW, what's the difference between the Base ROM and the Remix Rom?? The only visual difference I've seen between the two are the battery icons in the top right corner and the Power Bar icons in the pull down notifications.

Edit: Found the differences here--

Das BAMF Base Features:

--Debloated, which includes vzw framework, apps, games, libs, and permissions.
--Tweaked filesystem and minfree.
--Zipaligned (just once, not every boot, sorry), and deodexed. Odex and deodex perform the same after the first boot, when deodex roms get....odexed. This is merely to save space in /system and make tweaking easier.
--Added Google Car Home, removed HTC car app.
--Removed drm apks, and framework for now. If Netflix requires it later, I'll add it back.
--HTC Hub and htcsense.com are partially working.
--Removed Stocks widget, and app. Google has better apps for this anyway.
--Supruser is fixed with rmk40's version, woot woot!
--My own busybox, version 1.19
--Disabled data auto restore, because it tends to interfere with titanium backup.
--Extra scripts
sysrw --sets system to rw.
sysro --sets system to ro.
uber_quadrant --boosts your quads (for fun, must have quadrant installed. advanced or standard is fine).*
rw_boot --sets system to be rw every boot.*
ro_boot --sets system to be ro every boot.*
*don't mind errors if you see them, it will still work.
--profile added to system/bin to help prevent certain malware.
--Kernel has init.d support, as well as adb root, and usb debugging enabled on every boot (even from a wipe).
--Dusk theme from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893512
--No location indicator, thanks Bgill55!
--No recent apps on notification bar. Inspired by http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1004975, using 1.12.605.9 framework, which appears to have quite a few fixes, at least in xml.
--Transparent pulldown and location reticle deleted
--Modded launcher to include 5 app/transparent app drawer.
--Deleted am/pm in status bar clock and carrier in pulldown
--Accurate battery and custom super quick transition animations
--Added Spare Parts to speed up animations even more (change animation speed options to fast for best perfomance)
--Latest maps. (1.4)
--Settings toggles, credit to sk806 and JSChiSurf. (1.4)

From the problems I was having yes. Anytime anything with flash tried to load it didnt give a force close message. Instead it just kicked back to the home screen. Installed flash after running the fix and everything worked fine.

Im VERY new to android so I dont know alot but I think there is a rosie icon in your apps. That may allow you to change it to something else.

Ok I'll restore BAMF and try that. Now how do I restore the rosie skin? I changed to glass skin and now I can't go back to it. :'(

Sorry, noob question, I am getting ready to flash this rom but am just wondering: what do you do with the new radio (more specificially, the "PG05IMG.zip" folder) ?

I just rooted my TB yesterday and this looks like one of the better roms out there and this will be my first flash.

Put it on the root of your sd card and reboot the phone in the bootloader (hold power button and vol down button at same time when phone is off). Let it search for the zip, and then it will ask you to install. Click up on the vol button to begin install.

Then follow Cyber Warriors guide on How to Backup, Restore & Install ROMs

So I do this before (and separately) from flashing the rom?

I noticed there is already a folder on my sd card of the same name.......I assume the one from the ROM thread is basically going to "replace it properly" by doing what you said?

Also, should I rename the new radio .zip folder when I put it on my phone's sd card? Because like I said, there is already a .zip folder on there with the exact same name, so when I go to update it like you said, how will I know I'm doing the right one?

This ROM has the new 'base' already, but it needs the radio to compliment it. The radio file is in the first post of this thread and is 25mb in size, and you don't need to rename it. Just download, place on root of sd card, and reboot into bootloader.

When I rooted last night, I must've somehow come up with a .zip folder that is the EXACT SAME NAME of the new radio .zip folder. I am just wondering if I am safe to delete that off of my sd card before I copy my 25 mb .zip folder onto it.

Um....ok I updated the radio and now I don't have a damn signal at all and cannot do anything....I'm pretty much stuck here!!!

You are to update radio first, but I assumed you had the rom file on your card already and were ready to flash through recovery.

Where is it saying that you're not rooted?
