[ROM] [05.25.11] Das BAMF 1.7

Works fine on my phone. I've used it for the last couple of versions of das BAMF. You may want to clear cache and Dalvik before reflashing.

Maybe I am flashing it wrong...? I go into recovery and select the install zip file and choose the disable volume zip?

Sounds like you're using the right procedure. Try downloading the zip file again in case the file you have is messed up. Did you do a full data wipe before installing das BAMF? Sometimes you'll get glitches or have other problems if you flash a new ROM without performing a data wipe, as well as wiping the cache and Dalvik cache. Good luck.

I will redownload it and clear cache and Dalvik before flashing it. I just put 1.7 on yesterday and i always wipe device data and clear cache and Dalvik three times before flashing a new rom. Just out of habbit from the blackberry days. I could never get it to work with the previous build either. Thanks for the info!

Guess I am just not meant to use this feature as i did all the above and it still does not work :-(

I like 1.7 so far. I tried to use the imoseyon lean kernel 2.5.1, but it wouldn't load past the HTC screen. I had to revert to 4.4.7.

just rooted and flashed this rom and got my apps back. now what can I do that I couldn't yesterday.. lol

OK everyone!! I will be flashing this tonight. Its not out of fear of bricking my TB. Its out of this BULL charging problem. I have an extended battery and it took about 14 hours to get to 86!!!! On my normal battery it will take all night to charge and only gets to 96!!! I have tried everything so that i can stay on this BEAUTY of a ROM but i have been around 20-35% battery about 90 percent of the time since flashing. Mainly because when i come home i cannot charge it for 8 hours if i need to leave in 1 to 2 hours!? So i get home at say 22% and in two hours leave at 28%??

So i will flash this tonight.

Is it me or is there no REMIX 1.7?? Oh well cant stand the charging so i will go ahead any way!

Sorry if this has been asked already but for 1.7 is it necessary to flash the new radio? When they say to check the MD5s it only lists for the older versions.

In that MD5s list do you see the PG05IMG one well thats the one for the radio. And the download for it is also on that same post but ill put it here too:

Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

MD5s:

Radio download link and MD5s. I say you probably should flash the radio since he says so.

ok so on the gb remix for das bamf, i have a few problems. with the brick thing going on, i guess im going to flash back.

here is my list so far.

Cannot connect to wifi.
Bluetooth will not automatically connect, have to manually do it everytime.
Charging takes forever.
Battery life is not the greatest.
Pandora will only play one song, then quit. (I know, could be app issue with gb, etc etc)
Random reboots.
Cannot install any games from market or titanium backup

Not entirely blaming the rom, the radios could be doing most of this.

There's no need to flash a new radio to use das BAMF 1.7. You can use any of the Froyo-compatible radios in the radio thread. Some folks find the latest radio is better, others report worse performance. You can try it if you wish, but definitely not required for 1.7.

Good to know but i flashed it any way and double wiped everything. I never seem to experience the problems other do unless it is noted on the Original Post of a ROM information thread. I'm on 1.7 with the radio stated to flash and am glad to be able to charge my phone regularly now!!

You dont have to flash another radio . I have run every version of bamf (except gb) and I have never flashed a radio . Not one problem with original so have not bothered.

OK sweet cause I thought that in the op they meant that you wouldn't have LTE in 1.7 without the re-released radio.

I tried out 1.7 Remix this afternoon and had issues with SwiftKey and SwiftKey Beta X. And also with market and a few other apps foreclosing on me. I uninstalled them and installed them and nothing. Back to 1.6.3 and I'm good, not sure what is up with 1.7 for me.

What kind of problems were you seeing using SwiftKey with 1.7 remix? I'm using the SwiftKey beta with the regular edition of Das BAMF 1.7 and things are working fine so far.
