Since the 1.6.2 patch comes with an updated kernel, do I need to do anything else before flashing it in recovery? (i.e. clearing caches or whatever)
Thanks!!!
"Kernel has init.d support, as well as adb root, and usb debugging enabled on every boot (even from a wipe). Many optmizations, tun, cifs, nfs support. Overclocks to 1.5ghz. Undervolted from 1ghz and down. Stock voltage at 1.19, slightly overvolted past that.
Kernel will boot at 1036mhz! You must use setcpu to overclock, the kernel will not do it for you automatically."
anyone using setcpu? If so what was the best setup? (how was profile set, etc)
Ditto above, volume is super loud no matter how much I turn it down.
Reflash the rom.
Question, I moved to 1.6.2 then flashed a different Kernel. Now I'd like to go back to the 4.4.4, how can I do that? I know it's not available outside of 1.6.2 right now. I re-flashed 1.6.2 and that didn't install the new Kernel. Ideas?
Anyone else having problems with the phone freezing during app updates from the market? Not all apps, just random so far. Everything was restored used titanium backup. I have also already done the "fix permissions" in rom manager. Running the BAMF 1.6.1 update.
You know why, right? Its due to it being an intensive writing process. Larger apps are more likely to do it.
I'm having multiple updates fail now though and it's not all large files. There are a few apps that freeze the phone when trying to install/update (see below), but now there are many just failing...Any ideas or suggestions? Never had this problem before, even with multiple large apps updating at once...
Apps that cannot be installed (phone freezes):
- Crazy Snowboard
- Stupid Zombies
- 9 Innings: Pro Baseball
PS - I'm now running the BAMF Remix 1.6.2, aside from the app issues I've been loving this ROM. Thanks for all the hard work!
That's odd...because I wanted to try the new lean/extreme 2.0 myself.
It didn't run as nice as the 4.4.4, so I went into my folder of zip files on my phone and flashed it with the 1.6.2 patch and it put 4.4.4 back on the phone.
Did you try wiping cache and dalvik before you flashed the 1.6.2 update/patch?
