In the OP it states:

Do this.... Flash the Stock ZIP Rooted that I have and tell me what your results are.

Also, can you capture your radio version (aka baseband) from the settings -> About Phone -> Software?

I am experiencing the same issue where my phone is roaming in areas with a good Sprint signal where its never gone to roaming before running CleanROM 2.0 and 2.1. The current baseband version is 0.97.10.053. Since we're now running a derivative of the the 2.08.651.2 kernel, we should probably be using baseband 0.97.10.0808 that is distributed with this kernel via the official OTA.

That would be nice to know. Since I'm functioning, but just roaming I am going to wait to hear back from you. I don't want to do the flash to stock test and flash back with full factory resets each time unless I have to. If your radio flash solves the problem that would be great. I am loading everything on to my SD card so I can do this at work tonight if I need to.

No, but it doesnt hurt to stay up to date. I think the issue software related. Try the wipe method first.

I flashed this file and was fine: PG86IMG_2.08.651.2_firmware_nohboot.zip

Noob alert, to flash that firmware, or just radios can I do that through the recovery the same way I do a rom? Or do I have to do the name rename and put it in the root of the card and boot it?

Doing this doesn't undo s-off or anything I assume too.

Rename and put in root fo SD. This firmware has to be flashed via hboot not recovery.

I am using the teamwin recovery. I had temp root, and then used the revolutionary pre03 or something like that. Not the current 4 one.

Have S-Off Hboot 1.40.1000

ok, First I flashed just the firmware that was linked here in this thread from the new release with new radios supposedly. Still no sprint connection only roam.

Then I did factory wipe in TWRP, and then flashed the stock rooted rom that Scott provided the link to of his.

Still, will not connect to sprint but only roams. Question, does that stock include the stock kernel Scott?

There is 1 difference. Before it would only do 1x while roaming, now it does 3G roaming.

FYI...just saw this on GoodandEvo.com - http://www.goodandevo.net/2011/08/htc-evo-3d-receives-two-application-updates-ota.html . Looks like there is a small application updates and it mentions it is ok for rooted uses to take the update. I just got the notification on my phone. Wanted to check before doing any update since I have read and know not to take any OTA updates if rooted. Let me know. Thanks.

FYI...just saw this on GoodandEvo.com - HTC EVO 3D receives two application updates OTA . Looks like there is a small application updates and it mentions it is ok for rooted uses to take the update. I just got the notification on my phone. Wanted to check before doing since I have read and know not to take any OTA updates if rooted. Let me know. Thanks.

It "should" be OK. I havent tested yet..... Will do later tonight.

I have pushed the following updates in ROM Updater

Power Button Text Fix. Fixes the issues with incorrect text in power button. This will show up in ROM Updates.

Added CRT Animations. This will show up under Themes / Ad-Ons

Please refer to post #1 on proper usage of ROM Updater!

It seems that everything is back to normal again. I downloaded the latest radio (v0.97.10.0808) from the link on the sticky on XDA. I would recommend that anyone running CleanROM 2.0 or later (based on Sprint RUU 2.08.651.2) update to the radios that were distributed with the new kernel. It definitely fixed some weirdness that I had been experiencing on both CleanROM 2.0 & 2.1.

Scott - I have to say, now that my roaming issue is fixed and I have applied the new Power Button Text fix and the CRT Animations, this is my favorite ROM ever. It's fast, clean and it just works! The ROM Updater integration is pretty slick too.

Its safe, I just tested it. It will be rolled up into v 2.2

I lost the 3d Spiderman game, what is the easiest way to get that back? My boy likes it a lot.

Also, Android Market won't download a thing for me. Has anyone found a fix for this? Sticks at starting download. I use a google apps account, but even if I try a non-apps account it still won't download.

Spider man... I can make a mode for that.

As far as market? I have no clue. Go to settings -> Applications -> Manager Applications and then clear data for market and try again.

love the rom as well, unfortunately i have the same radio issues. Any advice?
