I am not seeing this issue, are you running setcpu conservative or on demand? The creators recommend on demand for this kernel because of issues with waking the phone up. If that doesn't work I would try reflashing the kernel from the twilight kernel threat @ xda.
Try reflashing the ROM. I remember having that problem on a previous ROM, and reflashing the ROM 3 times in a row fixed it for me. Hope that helps.
I reflashed it once a few hours ago and the issue still happened, but I've already done a bunch of customization, so I'm gonna see if just flashing the kernel fixes anything.
Update: Still happens. It seems to happen pretty regularly now... every time I put the phone down for more than ~5 minutes without touching it, it won't respond when picking it back up, and it only happens while not charging. Guess I'll have to try your technique. Did you wipe, flash, boot between each of the 3 flashes? Or just wipe, flash, flash, flash, boot?
When I flashed this ROM I was getting lock ups. Changing clock speed to 1.0GHz fixed it for me. And I don't even notice a speed decrease.

I just installed this ROM (moving from TER DK29) and for the most part enjoy its smooth operation and intrigued by the carrier ID being removed.
Just curious, I have restored most of my apps with Titanium backup... However, unlike DK28, the market doesn't recognize nearly all of those apps. I am just concerned for updates. Before, it was nice to upgrade, and have the market recognize my gmail account.
Am I the only one? Any ideas on how to restore that function?
thanks! Overall a great ROM
UPDATE: About 20 minutes later. When I re-checked the my apps section of the market... All of my apps were back! Was going to go back and restore data only and manually DL from market... But titanium backup seems to work with batch jobs.As recommended in the first post for this ROM on xda, you should download apps from the market and only restore data.

Thanks for the tip, but I've had mine set to 200-1000MHz the whole time and still get this weird issue. Gonna see if flashing Genocide kernel makes any difference.
I absolutely love this ROM so far, it's great.
I have a quick question. Does the included WiFi Tether app require the Sprint Tether plan (you know, the one that costs an extra 30 or something.). Or is that just the Sprint Hotspot app? Also, does the Wired Tether App cost extra?
I've encountered one pretty serious issue with this ROM. This has happened a few times to me now, maybe once or twice a day since I've run it.
I will be using my phone fine, then put it down for a few minutes, and when I pick it up to try to use it again, nothing will respond. I hit the unlock button to wake it, but the screen stays off and the soft-keys don't light up. When this happens, I can't receive any messages or phone calls--I used my friend's phone to call mine when this was happening, and it still rang on her phone, but nothing on my phone. Only way to fix this is a battery pull, not even Vol Up + Power + Camera reboots it.
I've tried running the kernel at 200MHz min instead of 100MHz, but that didn't make a difference. The only thing I've really altered after flashing the ROM is to flash the Search button fix from the ACE1.6 thread, but if I remember right, this problem happened before flashing that zip...
Anybody else experienced this?
Edit: For some reason this is happening a lot more frequently in the last few hours (I haven't changed anything this morning)... It did it 3 times int he last hour.
OK, so, I installed this last night and I'm liking it so far. The only thing that I'm having issues with is installing the stock apps that are posted in the XDA thread. Mainly, I'm looking at things like qik, Thinkfree office, and the clock (I really like the options the clock that came with EB13 had for alarms and whatnot). I tried moving the apks to the system/app folder and keep getting told that the copy failed. Any thoughts as to what I'm probably missing?
