[ROM][ACS]SyndicateROM Frozen 1.2 (Updated 6/20)

I ma afraid I know the answer but can some give me some tips on Voodoo sound settings?
The reason I ask is that my speakers are very low and screechs when playing music through the speakers. I tried BT streaming and the sound seems ok.

This has nothing to do with the ROM which is great. I think it is more hardware related
I think I am SOL...

Ok for some reason my apps are disappearing and I've done everything to try to get them back. Not all apps are just 40. I use titanium and it keeps saying they are not installed but my sd card space indicates that they are. Even tried to download them from market. Last resort is to wipe and reinstall. Any ideas or that the best way to go?

Then I would suggest changing your lower end number processor speed setting, stock setting is 100 Mhz and switch it to 200 Mhz and see if that helps. Some devices just don't react well to the 100 Mhz setting.

I have no idea how to do that. Can you help?

Either grab SetCPU from the 2nd post I think it is at the XDA thread for Syndicate or you can grab OverClock Widget from the Market.

Install, accept the rooted user request access and then you will see you CPU frequency settings.. The lower number 100 Mhz, just slide the slider bar a bit and it will move to 200 Mhz.

Thats it.. No big deal... This could be your problem, maybe not but I know many users have trouble running at the 100 Mhz because their phone doesn't want to wake up from that low of a frequency or simply just freaks out sitting ideal during use at that lower frequency.

And if you use SetCPU set it to conservative ;)

I am currently on 1.1.0, been on it for about 2 months now. It's the first time I've ever flashed a phone, and I'm curious about what's involved in upgrading to 1.1.1. Do I have to go through the entire process of wiping the phone and reflashing everything, or is there a simple upgrade? Thanks

I may be missing something obvious- when I try to use Voltage control on this ROM and kernel, I dont get the pull up tab to specifty what speeds I want. I only get the scrolling options to undervoltage.

Is this how the kernel is set up? I ended up using SetCPU instead for this Kernel/Rom.

ZiggSeVO, Thank you so much for the answer. I successfully upgraded to 1.1.1 last night without a hitch. I have one last question that I've been searching everywhere for but can't find the answer to.

I've seen a few people mention that they are on this ROM and running the EE03 modem, which I hear has much better reception, I'd like to try it out. I didn't know you could flash JUST a modem, and if so, how is it done? Thanks

You should be able to use VC? First I've heard it not working on this kernel...
I do know that ACS is working on a better simpler way to control both clocking and volting ;)
Phone is in my truck right now but I'll check Voltage Control when I get it out of there :p

Edit: ok so i have all the options to change my voltages at all the freq up to 1.3? so not sure exactly what your meaning?

Hey Ziggs- thanks for looking into this.
On prior kernels, VC has a pull up tab on the bottom of the main screen that lets you toggle which speeds you want to use. Then you can select the max speed from the pull down menu at the right upper corner. The main screen itself lets you slide how much to UV each speed.

On this Kernel, there is no pull up tab to select which speeds to use and not use. It may be a moot point if something better is coming but was just curious.

Can't find anything about this, but might have missed it. Love the ROM, but my video recording says it fails after anywhere from 10-30 seconds. I cannot get it to record for very long. Made me pretty mad at my son's preschool program yesterday. Anyone know how to fix? I wiped and reflashed and it's the same.

well guys, finaly time to post a problem from my end after a while lol,
Currently I've been on ACS for a bit, then switched to this one 1.1.1, but the first setup I messed up on a few things so i just ,cleared data/Cache/Delvick x3 then Flash the Rom, then Flashed the TWCW kernel thing( this was before the re-released 1.1.1 where the TW flash wasn't needed.) but after the flash, Im getting extreme lagness :/ and thats only after the phone is on the desktop, so i restart the phone, and yet is still laggy.

how do i start fresh?
thank you!
