Well, changing to the Vision Kernel did not help at all. If anything, it locks up more often than before.

You have a few options...

Twilight Zone Kernel v1.1.0 or v1.0.4

Vision Kernel

Clean Kernel

Genocide

Something has to work for you. Plus try bumping that lower end number from 100 Mhz to 200 Mhz if you haven't already. Otherwise if your running OC then there is a chance your device just doesn't like whatever OC settings your attempting.

I've been having problems since flashing SFR. every time I turn on 4G I get an error "The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly."

Also, I get a FC error whenever I try to download something from the Android Market app. It opens the main screen, but anything else closes.

Finally, the Wifi Tether app that came with the ROM crashes the phone. I have to use Wireless Tether that I downloaded separately.

Other than that, I love SFR

Come to think of it, I've never paid attention to the kernel version number. I've always gone by the OS version/build it's associated with. This would be for Froyo EC05.

I may have to Odin and flash this one. So far everytime I've flashed it, it locks up. The keyboard won't even work. So I have flashed 1.1.0, Urban Fury and Bonsai since and all 3 worked great. Not sure why this one doesn't play nice with my phone.

That's strange. Try odining to stock EC05... Rooting with 3.0.0.6.... converting your filesystem to ext4 by booting into clockwork.. flash the syndicate 1.1.0 rom... (you might have to pull battery, re wipe and flash after the first try)... Then once you've flashed the 1.1.0 rom.. reboot your phone.. Then boot into clockwork and flash this zip through clockwork: [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod 3.0.2.5 upgrade RFS / EXT4 COMPATIBLE!!! - xda-developers
It will upgrade your clockwork. After you flash the zip reboot your phone. Then boot into clockwork... wipe data 3X, cache 3X, and dalvik 3X and flash syndicate 1.1.1.

I finally got it. I guess I had a corrupt download. Redownloaded and did the same thing I've been doing and it's running smoothly now. what is the big difference in this and 1.1.0?

Check out the changelog in the OP... I find it to be a lot faster.

No changes are made in this rom from yesterday's post.... It's just making it a one step process.
THOSE HAVING ISSUES WITH PHONE WAKE UP... Use setCPU, set the governor to conservative and have it at 200 Mhz minimum.

Also, SyndicateFrozen rom 1.2 is currently being worked on! Expect a couple minor and major changes. Expect a new kernel, New Voodoo sound. You might also see some theme changes: Maybe you'll get some lockscreen options, maybe 6 of them?
Also, possibly seeing TouchWiz 4 launcher?? What??
There will also be updated Gapps and updated adobe flash player.
Tired of using voltage control and SetCPU?? A little too confusing? The ACS Team is working hard to get a new and improved app to change overclock and undervolt settings.. Maybe you will get a glimpse of that as well?

Then I would suggest changing your lower end number processor speed setting, stock setting is 100 Mhz and switch it to 200 Mhz and see if that helps. Some devices just don't react well to the 100 Mhz setting.

Just updated to 1.1.1. Everything is smooth, no problems so far.
I just hate when I read posts and people exaggerate saying "Woah! Battery life is crazy now! Only 3% gone in 50 minutes". I mean no need to lie, just be honest with results so people know what to improve on, and so you don't mislead others. The biggest reason I upgraded was hoping battery life is improved, I Don't care what's in a ROM, all I care about is how good it improves the battery. In 4 minutes, 4% of my battery was gone.

Where is this Voltage setting thing at? Will this help battery life?

Gambingo- I had to go to the market to download the free Voltage control app to undervolt. This may help out your battery life.

Just came here to say awesome job you guys. I love this rom and the work y'all do. I ran it up until ee03 was available and then I had to flash that cause of Netflix support.

But I was wondering if you guys are waiting for gingerbread so 1.2 will be built off that??
