[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

Chances are you will need to do a clean install. Something got corrupted. Backup your data with TWRP or CWM. Whichever you prefer. I haven't installed B5 yet on my gnex. I am not really planning to either. I will install it on my Nexus 7 however.

Brought to you by the Google Galaxy Nexus. It IS better than the iPhone 5.

I got the phone into CWM. Wiped cache and davlik reflashed B5, newest version of gapps and Picasa sync gapp. All better.

Like B5 so far with R292, at 71% with 6h 42m. Only 20 minutes of screen time but all LTE and by this time I would be in the 40-50% battery with around the same on screen time before. Sometimes I had good life with other builds but with LTE all day and Auto brightness it wasn't always a given. Wifi at home always got me around 2-2.5hrs of screen time though. And it also feels smoother with B5 as well. Keep up the good work guy.

So, I don't necessarily think this is an AOKP issue (and I was on build 4 when I first started noticing this, now on build 5), but is anyone else having issues with Facebook? For one, every time I try to post a status update, I get an error that it couldn't be posted at this time, but if I click "status", the text I entered is still there, and I can press whatever button to send it, and it'll post.

Secondly, notifications seem spotty. At first, I'd get notifications for the things I have enabled, but for some reason, I stopped getting Facebook notifications altogether. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and I was getting notifications again, now all of a sudden, I'm no longer getting notifications. Not really sure what's up with that... Edit: And now, all of a sudden, I'm getting notifications again... What the heck?

Give a new ROM a couple of days for the battery life to really kick in. I've seen those types of numbers at first, but then 2 days later its back to same battery life as before.

I dirtied from 4, just wiping cache and dalvik. No issues thus far.

Is there any reason Build 5 is only 40MB as opposed to the usual 140MB? And that the Gapps are over 80MBs?

Your gapps are about the right size. DO NOT install the rom. It should be 141.56MB. Re-download and check again.

Am I the only one with GPS problems? I've been having problems connecting to GPS for awhile now. I can connect just fine on stock and it's not the kernel either. I've clean installed over and over and it still doesn't work. I've tried methods like the gps fix and I even tried to export the GPS config file and paste it back after I installed AOKP. Still no luck. I know it worked in August.

Thanks a bunch, re-downloaded, dirty flashed, and I'm flying around on 4.1.2 with my beloved lockscreen targets back.

Well I've had these GPS issues for quite sometime. For a couple builds if I can remember. For example if I open up Google maps and try to check my location, it constantly is searching and if it does somehow seem to get a connection for a second its about half a mile off my real location. I'm not having this issue on stock or on my nexus 7 running AOKP so I don't know what it could be.

My GPS locks instantly on B5 as it always has. One thing you guys might want to check is that "internal gps souce" is checked in settings<location access.

Haven't had any GPS issues but the battery life is garbage. I was getting excellent battery life with B4 and Franco M6. Now on B5 with M6 and it's turrible.

One or the other gapps. Do you want picsa sync or a modified camera app?

I haven't even tweaked kernel settings and my battery life is great.
