Thanks so much for this! I am brand new to this world of rooting (etc) and your directions were pretty easy to follow!
The only problem I am having right now is that I love the Swype keyboard, and I am guessing it isn't compatible? I reinstalled it with Titanium, but it keeps crashing, so I had to uninstall it.
Anyway to make it compatible? Anything like that?
I have an LG Optimus S and I have big fingers- the keyboard is pretty small for me.

Which swype?? The stock one or beta? There's a couple directions for each to work.

Assuming you tried to restore the stock version, that will not work. You'll need the official beta from swype.com.

Question any way to fix the multitouch? seems in cm7 builds multitouch is a little wack lol

Assuming you tried to restore the stock version, that will not work. You'll need the official beta from swype.com.

Anyone testing the 3.2 IHO Kernel? I'm working on a 10-16 build and the headset mic is not working with that kernel. It works fine with the 3.1 kernel. Just wanting to know if it is working for anyone else on the earlier builds.

I'm on 10-10 barebones, dl'ing the kernel so I can use debian in loop file. I never use headset mic but I have one, so I'll test it in a few, gotta finish 13 more mp3 uploads first

I have the 10-10 IHO, I don't think I have the Kernel though. (still learning as I go!) I don't mind putting it on and testing for you... More learning for me! Just tell me what to do.

New kernel from BobZhome to try. Currently testing.

* Interactive governor readded, I believe it is more responsive from idle than InteractiveX. So it may help with audio streamers, but sacrifice a little in battery life.

* Headset button fixes built in.

Kraven: Can you please explain what you mean when you say "Headset button fixes built in"?

BobZhome has been doing work on getting headset buttons working like the volume up and down buttons on some headsets.

But in testing the 3.2 kernel, it broke the headset mic function, so I'm packaging the 3.11 IHO kernel that includes that fix.
