I pretty much got the a ok from my wife to pre-order this. And if I do pull the trigger tonight is there a random order that these go out in? So if I order tonight does that mean I'm in line with everyone else or am I in the back of the line?

But it looks like that package is scheduled for delivery 2000 miles from where he is which seems odd.

It also seems odd that a Samsung.com order is using UPS. That would be a change of course for them.

That is very odd. All those that are getting notices of delivery are from Fed Ex. I think TMobile is the only one using UPS anyway aren't they?

It is first come first serve and as long as they don't run out I assume you'll get it by launch day but somebody just posted he just ordered and he says shipping the 28th so they may already be on back order.

It depends when they actually ship. Expect 2 days from the time you place your order until it says shipped. If the others haven't shipped by then, you'll probably be in the same boat as at least that point.

No samsung.com orders are using UPS this time, follow the Samsung direct order thread you'll know. I got my UPS tracking as well from Samsung.com pre-order.

SHOP SAMSUNG app has the Note 8 for great price with trade in... Upto $300 off, bringing the T-Mobile version down to $630... Not too bad for a phone that's not even released yet, and for people without a Note 7 trade in...

Go through T-Mobile on Twitter. I had 3 months before I was able to Jump per Customer Service but 15 minutes on Twitter and my order was complete.

I suspect this time tomorrow we'll be seeing movement on UPS.

Should never have let that rep convince me they couldn't take my Note8 order over the phone. I called in at 12:01, and they said the only way I could order a phone was to visit a store.

I just tried to search where Verizon customers are getting their preorders early. I searched and the only source that got confirmation from Verizon is BGR. So I'm doubtful. I'm thinking their phones will sit at a local hub. That's what all that fedex is about. If someone has another source, please link it.
