T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

About JUMP ON DEMAND, I was told the same thing from a sales rep in a T-Mobile store, that it's no longer offered to join, only valid for people who already have it on their lines... But, a chat with the T-Mobile Twitter help desk, and he said THEY DEFINITELY STILL OFFER THAT TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE INTERESTED... So best bet is to have a chat with their Twitter help desk and proceed from there as they can help you get it all set up straight through Twitter...

I think we've all been hearing this misinformation from T-mobile reps about JOD. When I signed up in a store, a rep tried to convince me that I wouldn't get as good of cell reception if I were on JOD!

For some reason, reps seem to be told to discourage customers from signing up for JOD. I'm not sure why a business would offer and advertise a service but recommend against it.

They have to be losing their butts with JOD. That's most likely why the terms keep changing. The next uncarrier event next week I believe is supposed to detail some discount for buying the phones outright, probably to deter some JOD purchases going forward.

So I received an email stating my account has been charged $7.... Delivery fee for T mobile. Does this mean it has shipped?

It has to be done over the phone initially. I tried through chat and was told to call. After you are enrolled, then you can do your next JOD order through chat or online.

You can sign up for JOD through chat. That is how I did it on Thursday after 2 terrible experiences dealing with morons over the phone.

Has anyone seen a status change as far as shipping?...or maybe heard when they would be shipped?

Did you get a new Equipment agreement update email?
Did you check the T-Mobile app for order status or UPS to see if the shipment was there?

Nothing new to report here. Didn't expect it to honestly, next week sometime maybe. Hope for the best expect the worst.

I've gotten all of that and status hasn't changed since it showed up on UPS on the 30th.

Mine as well. Unless TMO has a 9th inning rally planned, I don't see us getting ours as soon as VZW and Sprint users. Rats lol

Tmo vs just told me the release date is the 18th now....hahaha wow but the guy couldn't even tell me why I already had a tracking # and imdi....wow can't count on their help.

Yep I repeat it often... Don't trust reps. :P.

Then why call them. All signs point to the phones hitting UPS within the next 48 hours. If Samsung is saying they will be shipping phones on the 5th, the carriers have been given the go ahead to have phones in hand for pre-orders starting the 5th. Carriers will always be given first dibs to get phones to customers.

So Verizon customers are getting there Note 8's soon from what it looks like, and that's great for them ! But what I don't get is if it's apparently not a big deal to Samsung that they are shipping early and putting the Note 8 in their customers hands a full 10 days early, why is T-Mobile not following suit ?
