Then why call them. All signs point to the phones hitting UPS within the next 48 hours. If Samsung is saying they will be shipping phones on the 5th, the carriers have been given the go ahead to have phones in hand for pre-orders starting the 5th. Carriers will always be given first dibs to get phones to customers.
What makes you think their not? With the Note 7, my UPS status stayed in the "label created. Waiting for UPS to pickup" [or something like that] until say Monday and it was delivered Tuesday. May be the same case here.So Verizon customers are getting there Note 8's soon from what it looks like, and that's great for them ! But what I don't get is if it's apparently not a big deal to Samsung that they are shipping early and putting the Note 8 in their customers hands a full 10 days early, why is T-Mobile not following suit ?
Well... I'm officially in the waiting game now. Just switched to TMobile and used the BOGO to order a Note8 for myself and my wife. I want it NOW. LOL
I agree. At this point I'm just looking forward to the 13th-15th like the estimated date states
I originally ordered on 8/26 and had to cancel on 8/29(long story). Finally got another pre-order in on 8/30 pm. Got the "shipped" updates about 48 hours later. Still in the UPS Ready for pickup phase.Anyone getting emails or text message that ordered a few days later after when it begin?(26th-29th)
I just received all 3 cases I ordered today. 2 of them said at time of order that the estimated delivery was somewhere around 9/14-9/17. Glas they were wrong. My Tech21 case arrived. If only I had the phone for it. Haha.
I still haven’t gotten anything. I ordered on the 29th

If Verizon got the go ahead from Samsung, then all carriers got the go ahead. I feel pretty good that Tmobile won't want to let Verizon get phones to their customers first so they will be packing up phones over the weekend and origin scans start Monday afternoon/evening and into the night. Depending on the part of the country and the flight schedule, some people won't see origin scans until 2am or so Tuesday morning. If you chose Next Day delivery, phones will arrive Tuesday.
Are you just speculating or you know? I know there have been times one carrier gets them before the other but I would rather know than to not know. I hope something moves by Monday. I know it's Labor Day but I worked in production at GE and we worked holidays all the time but I'm talking within the plant, not drivers so I hope you are right. I have a great phone so I should be content but I always get antsy with a new phone.

I don't have any inside information, just speculating based on previous experience and how gung ho Legere is about destroying Verizon.
