[7.14.11][ROM] Das BAMF Sense 3.0 RC4.9

You don't use clockworkmod to flash radios. Boot into hboot by first powering off fully, then hold down the power and volume down buttons at the same time. After flashing the radio be sure to delete the radio file from your sd card.

what happens if you don't delete it?

OMG! I found you again!!! If you are not on XDA neither am I! I'm dedicated to your rom because it is the most secure and stable! Please keep up the hard work!!

I found a tiny bug. May be me though. I noticed the skins are broken. The Rosie bar is no longer colored like it was before when using memories or mothership. They worked before. If this isn't broken for others, please let me know, it could be because i didn't wipe anything prior to installing. I will wipe and reinstall when I get back to the states (in mexico now).

Anyone know why my MD5 sums dont match for this rom. I figure this is the reason the installation gets aborted during flashing or is there another culprit?

After I wipe the Dalvik, i get this E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]. Whats going on?

They were not broken for me. U need to reflash

Does anybody get FCs when accessing the gallery? I always get FCs when accessing the menu in the gallery app where you can hide/unhide certain albums. Most of the albums are from doc to go or screen shots which I prefer not to be shown in the gallery.

I wouldn't delete it in case you need it again in the future... Just get is off of the root of your SD card.. put it into a named folder and you will be ok. the only time your phone will read the radio is if it is on the ROOT of you SD card (as in, not in a folder, but directly on the main SD card)...

I have a folder named Radio's with all the Froyo and GB radios, including the new .627 radio. that way I can keep track of everything. easiest way is with the usb and your computer but you can use RootExplorer or SuperManager app to delete, remove, move, check MD5's, pretty much everything you can do on a computer just not as fast :)

I looked around for a simple option that would allow me to disable wake on volume too, but couldn't find it. There is, however, a mod that you can do that is fairly simple and will prevent the volume keys from waking the phone. You will need a file explorer program that can give you root access, and will need to enable read/write permissions on your system files. I'm using ES File Explorer from the market (the free version, you'll have to enable root explorer in the settings of the program--menu>settings>Root options (NEW)--check Root Explorer and Mount File System)

Once you have this program on your phone, navigate to your local storage (not SD card) then to System>usr>keylayout>mecha-keypad.kl Open this file. In ES File Explorer when you click on it, you'll get an option of how to open it. Open it as a text file, then open it with ES Note Editor. You'll have a list of items, focus on "key 115" and "key 114" They should read, "key 115 VOLUME_UP WAKE" and "key 114 VOLUME_DOWN WAKE". Delete the word "WAKE" from each of these lines, but leave everything else the same. Save the file and reboot. Now you should find that when your phone is locked, the volume keys do not wake the screen, only the power button does. Hope that helps! It worked for me!

note this does not work with Super manager for some reason even if you move on to the paid version

I recorded my son riding his bike with training wheels for the first time today the audio sounded real bad imo

That's what I keep coming across with any GB build I've seen for this phone, and I feel like I've tried them all. I've asked the question before, in the IRC channel, and they all gave me the "just use a real camera" solution. Yeah, ok. I figured CM7 would be safe from it, but it's still pretty crappy.

Is there a way to set the sms thread limit with this rom? I cant seem to find it. Also is there a way to have recently opened apps on the notification bar like the factory one?

I have a real camera but I'm not always going to carry it with me all the time that's why they have video recording on phones to capture that moment on the go (in my opinion )

These are the kinds of things you just have to deal with when you're running unofficial software. Not to mention the ROM is still in RC phase. I'm sure it will be fixed once the devs get their hands on the official GB release.
