Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 07/27/2011)

[INFO]Build Release Imminent!

I've decided to switch tomorrow's build to today because I've done something absolutely exciting with this ROM that has only been accomplished on one other device in a CM7 ROM. That's enough of a hint for now, so stay tuned![/INFO]

Don't do it. I don't have time to flash a new update today... :p

j/k. Ready to see what this surprise is!

You always have time to flash a new update.

It's only a matter of time. The new build is currently compiling then I have to make sure I didn't happen to break anything.

Drew, I noticed someone post a screenshot with their battery icon resembling a gas tank meter like in a car and was curious if that is a feature on this rom. I've looked all over the settings and can't find anything lol. Thanks in advance

So, what time you think the new build will be released? About 8:11? How about 8:12? hehe

Search for it in this sub forum, there is a port for optimus s and cm 7. Sorry for not doing that myself, but I am in the lab now :)

Go into your contacts and remove the 1 in front of the number. Example should be xxx-xxx-xxxx take the 1 out. Problem solved?

Well, I'll be damned. This caused me to look closer and it wasn't actually the 1, it was the + sign that Google Voice was adding to the front of the number, if I selected the "Call" option from inside of Google Voice app. All is well in the world. Thanks!

No worries. I like this theme a lot. My pleasure passing the info. Now back to the wait for the awesome new feature.
Btw thank you Drew for this rom and kernel. With the cpu usage hack I get amazing battery life. Iirc one day 10 hours and I was at 10%!

No way, PRL/profile update??? Now that IS something exciting. I didn't think it was possible with CM roms.

Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 08/01/2011)

PRL/Profile update just seems to call Sprint. I can't confirm weather blue teeth are working. I don't have any.

That's how it works. It calls a specific Sprint line to get the update. You will need to reboot for the update to take effect (if there was one available). It's also possible you will need to get your account flagged for a PRL update.

Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 08/01/2011)

OK, it just seemed like the regular Sprint line. Recording asked me if I was calling about my number, then told me my balance and whatnot while the progress bar was going across the screen. Then it said it was transferring to an operator to help me and when I put it to my ear, the proximity sensor hung up the phone.
Thanks for the quick reply!
