Help, I'm trying to flash Gingerbread to my Thrive, but every time I try to reach the CWM recovery screen my phone just resets and deletes everything. How do I get the CWM recovery screen to show? I have it rooted and the ROM manager screen shows that I have flash CWM to it.
weird never heard something like that?
I know i'm very late, but you said you have never heard of it before.. Well I have ran into that issue too! When the phone.android.com thing (or whatever it is) pops up, sometimes when I'm on my way to the sqlite editor, my buttons flash and my phone reboots :-\
Does anuone else has issues:
1. send MMS works ONLY is all messages were delited; No receive ever. process com.android.mms crashes
2 Any attempt to change CM CPU perfomance havernor settings from perfomance causes screen to shift and eventualy crahes the phone.
Thank you for reading this post.
Well my CPU was 652MHz, so it isn't too high. As far as other governors settings ANY change on a fly is between bad and worse. I did try both Conservative and Ondemand with the same result. Even native 600MHz crashes with any changeable modes.Regarding 2.
I think the offset screen is tied to the cpu changing its speed. It never occurs if the governor is set to Performance (always max speed when phone is on). If you need the extra battery life from lowering it, Conservative and Ondemand are somewhat stable.
Also, don't clock your CPU too high. The least bit above 768MHz causes my Thrive to crash immediately. At 748-768MHz it crashes after a while. (I wonder if the temperature gets too hot eventually.) Currently I have it set to 729MHz and it has only crashed once after an hour of video playback..
Does anyone know where I can find a stock gingerbread rom.
