Can you get to cwm? And did you clear data, cache, and dalvik before flashing?

yes and yes
Can you help over the phone?skype?
I don't think this is a ROM issue but somehow I've screwed cwm or other stuff on my phone itself.

Whats the difference? or bugs fixed?

The Experia ROM (IMHO) so far seems to be the best ROM found. No issues to speak of except for it still isn't that great with the battery usage. Judging from what I have read this may be a Kernel issue more than the ROM's. I don't really have anything to back that up but several posts seem to indicate that the kernel has a good deal over power consumption. I may be completely off my nut on this one.

Anyways I have tried a ton of ROMs and this is the only one I have noticed being all around good even the screen delay is fixed for the most part, you still have to use a live wallpaper but otherwise is great... no real complaints here.

I didn't, but cwm could because I've tried all menu options it offers...
I can get access to sd card via usb but can't mount usb but cwm reports:unable to open ums lunfile

Will try joban's suggestion next year. joban could it make things worse? would it be possible to back off? I'm kinda scared already.

Thanks!

Joban, sorry could you please explain what will i get changing CWM to TWRP?

Googled out how to get into emergency mode:
pwr, vol_dwn, back.
May be someone knows how this can be used for my trouble or may help someone else

Ok so let me get these steps straight,
1. Go in CWM and flash the TWRP thunderg zip
2. reboot
3. Reboot into where? Recovery? Then wipe
4. Reboot and done

Here is update.
I've erased more stuff... I still can get into recovery but now i can mount/unmount sdcard but can't install anything from it: the only thing i see it ROM Manager logo.

things are getting worse...

Using KDZ_FW_UPD was able to load the "ufficial" india version:
Color is screwed, whenever screen goes off you need to remove battery to bring it back to life(i think it is screen driver issue). Phone became unrooted! Did not expect this at all. Alright, tried to root it the same way I initially have via GingerBreak 1.2. Doesn't work: spins its wheel forever...
Oathkeeper1212 suggested to do it via adb. The results are here

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I hope to avoid these pitfalls by not using ROM Manager. Is TWRP better than CWM on this device? I don't care about the funny colors in recovery, just want Android to run right. I'm going to try the CosmicExperia Link with joban's kernel.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

But how can you flash it? I'm able to load only KDZ files. I didn't find way to load TWRP, did you?
Thanks.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

I just used ADB and the flash_image.zip as outlined in the XDA tutorial to get CWM 5.0.2.0 Worked like a charm. ROM Manager is a real bad crutch, so I avoid it. CWM works fine, even if the colors are funky. And at a quick glance, the CosmicEXperia ROM is off the hook. My Optimus S and I are a little jealous of the Phoenix's owner right now. :D

Not be a jerk, but the recovery typen needs to move back to its thread please.
Now back to this threads topic.
Hows cosmic, and cm7.2 been? Any com.android.phone errors?
arc-os gave it to me after a week. V1.7 might try 1.8 later
Back with oxygen. No errors but battery sucks.
Joban, any head way on romin or any thoughts on adding any mods ie scripts to the kernel?
