I've noticed a couple things so far. My sync icon is always running and my text messages are really laggy when exiting from a chat. Sometimes it FC. Any ideas?

Finally got everything flashed. I noticed the same thing about my sync icon. It didn't start until 30 mins after I put the new rom on. Now the sync icon won't stop spinning.

I have BAMF 1.5 Remix on the phone now... can I just do a backup, install 1.6 and restore? Or is there a radio update that I need to do before installing 1.6?

You don't need to install the new radio file if you don't want it. Some folks have reported problems with the new radio while it works fine for others. I installed the new radio with Das BAMF 1.5 and it works well for me, but it's generally a good idea to not to make too many changes at once.

Do you use clockworkmod to load roms? I like to wipe data, wipe cache, and wipe Dalvik cache before flashing a new rom. I ran into problems the one time I didn't wipe the data, but others have reported success without wiping data.

Its definitely faster and snappier. Even before I threw imoseyon's leankernel back on there adrynalyne's that was on there was plenty fast. Its taking my phone awhile to die too (battery calibrated so I need to drain it!) which is definitely surprising. Battery life seems slightly improved.

Some new animations after pretty sweet. They are much faster/snappier too. The transitions between homescreen pages is very fluidy. It's like the phone just came out of the box like this and hasn't gotten bogged down with anything.

They added in something called BAMF Toolkit which gives you a ton of tweaking options (ie, boot sound on or off, homescreen lock via sense or not, clock in notification bar, etc.)

Just feels better in my hands.

Hey guys. Awesome ROM. About to install 1.6, been using 1.5 for about a week now.

Quick question though, I am not getting data for some reason. Phone calls, sms and all that jazz works just fine. But internet browsing or facebook dont load and say there isnt a connection. Tried toggling wifi, airplane, and no help.

flashed the new radio needed via hboot, also. clean wipe, etc.

any ideas? I'm still pretty new at all this.

If you go to Menu>Settings>Wireless/Networks>Radio Info

What does it say for 'Network Type'?

New rom is great. If you're familiar with BAMF roms, you already know what to expect. Everything so far is stable and runs awesome. The built in OC'd kernal is a nice addition, really bumps up the quad scores and makes things easier for users who are new to flashing roms and kernals.

Just flashed 1.6 REMIX......and it is AWESOME!!!! Super Fast!!!!! Thanks guys it ROCKS!! I stayed with the stock radio it works better for me!

I like the remix better than the standard. I'm glad the 1.6 remix came out quickly.
I don't like the animations changing between screens, apps, etc.

I really, really like the remix. Great work as usual.

I updated mine from 1.5 remix to 1.6 this morning.
I still show the radio at 1.16.00.0223r...which is stock (which, has worked better for me).
