I'm having this problem as well. Updates begin to download and then automatically fail. Love the ROM so far... great battery life and performance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry, not with the phone freezing, but with updates failing.

Dah... sorry again for being such a n00b... a reboot fixed the problem. =/

My problem is persistent even after multiple reboots. Both the update(s) failing and the freezing issues. Not every application does this though. Very weird.

FYI/EDIT...the error message tells me there is insufficient space, which is not true. Also other apps have installed and updated in the meantime. Not sure why this is only happening with certain apps. Qik is one of the ones failing, one of my favorite apps of course.

Just want to say THANXS! Good job on the ROM. I will be donating. One question though... Ive tried flashing 1.6.2 twice and i keep getting an error when i try to use wifi. Am i doing something wrong?? Right now im on 1.6. Thanks again guys and girls!

Well I have 1.6.2 and I flashed dark horse over that just to change a few icons and animations as with the lightning rom theme. The over look,feel, ajustablity is very nice. But I have noticed that for some reason my battery losing the first half of its life rather fast with just the screen active and light usage. I'm not sure if its just because of all the animations or is there a conflict with dark horse? Other then that I love everything else. No other issues , it fixed my video record sound level. And works way smother then stock. I download a lot of movies and five at time sometimes and get very little lag. Gotta love that 4g service lol. Though I'm not to thrilled by the call record feature bit then again it is a cell phone and anyone can be listening in. Oh but remembered I am having a problem with text contacts. If I click a person fromy message list I don't always get that person. It might go to some one else and if I don't watch that I send a text to the wrong person did it twice already. So other then that I'm loving it.

I installed dad bamf 1.6.2 nte and set the dad bamf theme but my screen looks nothing like the screnshot even after setting the skin ttp dad bamf, my notification bar isn't transparent and the top of the notification bar is just black, what have I done wrong

Anyone else noticed that when you press the VVM icon it goes to the messaging app and not the voicemail part? I am using the 1.6 NTE.

Did not see an answer to this, anyone else having this issue? Happens to me using Remix 1.5 too.

Let us know if you find a solution. This is only mildly annpying for me.

More annoying is that I was hoping that a new ROM, RUU and wireless-tether app would fix the instability of wifi-tether for me, but it doesn't .

Apparently installing with ROM Manager was the problem. I was also missing other features like 6 signal bars and all the different boot options. I booted into Clockwork, wiped everything and re-installed 1.6 manually and it worked like a charm...I did have to re-install Backup Assistant to restore my contacts, here's the link for it.

Try reinstalling using ClockworkMod rather than using ROM Manager. Is that still on your phone? If you have a recent nandroid backup you can try restoring and starting again from there.

unable to access restore, it asks if i want to restore but then just exits out. gunna try a manual restore.

Anyone know how I can get back the font from 1.6.2? I don't mind the new one, but it's kinda hard to see, and almost impossible outside.
