Stuck on samsung screen

Hey i tried flashing this rom and now my phone is stuck on the SAMSUNG screen. Can someone please help??

I was on this, went to Gingerbread, and wanted to come back. Same thing happened to me.

Look at "bricked phone" sticky. I had to pull battery to stop this. Went to bootloader (?) by pressing 1 and power button till yellow triangle comes up. Then run Odin, load tar and pit, plug in phone and run. This will take you back to stock.

Very easy but know your frustrations. You will have to reroot (which I also had fits with) to flash roms. Something must have broke in mine, but your phone isn't bricked, it just takes patience and time, and maybe more of both, but doable. Good luck.

Hey i tried flashing this rom and now my phone is stuck on the SAMSUNG screen. Can someone please help??

Couple of things to try....

- Were you running any other ROMs before this?
- Did you just come from stock? If so did you convert to EXT4?
- If you were running EB13/EXT4 did you flash the EC05 modem?
- Boot back into CWM and wipe everything and reflash the ROM
- All else fails use Odin to return to stock EB13 and run through the rooting process again.

Paul, do you know if i need to wipe anything such as cache or dalvik before flashing the aosp lockscreen for SRF? I've been running SRF flawlessly for a month now and don't want to hose it by flashing the lockscreen incorrectly.

You should be able to just flash it, no wipe. Just to be safe as always do a backup before hand.

That's the first thing I tried (several times) and no luck. I did a wipe and clean flash this morning and did not download angry birds. Going to see what it does today.

syndicateROM Frozen 1.1.0 MISTAKE

Hi Im running ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.0 and I tried to flash syndicateROM Frozen 1.1.0 to my Epic 4g. I wiped the data three times as well as the cache and dalvik cahe. What the phone does is it loads to the "SAMSUNG" screen and stays there. Ive tried to connect it to my pc in download mode to use odin and it tells me the device is malfunctioning and the device drivers didnt properly install. So now I feel stuck because i cant find any other ways around this issue...can some PLEASE HELP?? Also in CLockwork mode it says at the bottom "E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log"

You should try again and reinstall the ROM. Same thing, 3x wipe data cashe and dalvik. I had to try it twice, on the 2nd it worked fine. I just did it 2 days ago.

You need to convert to EXT4/CWM 3.0.0.6 to flash Syndicate.

Been out of the loop for a while and I'm having issues running SFR. My GPS doesn't seem to work with any google apps (nav, maps, places...), it seems to work with the camera though. Also keeps reseting apps and reverting the sounds to silent. I loved this ROM when I first installed it but it seems to be getting wacky. I've reflashed once or twice and all is well for a week or so before it starts acting up. Could this be the journaling? I tried searching the thread but it has become pretty long. I really need the GPS as I just moved out of state.

Clear cache and dalvik-cache and reboot. See if that fixes it. If it doesn't, wipe data and reflash.

I may be mistaken, but I think you need CWM 3.0.0.6.

Im wondering if anybody has had an issue with the gallery on syndicate 1.1.0.When i go to change my wallpaper only drop-box appears,no pics wallpapers or anything that i have on my card...can find them using astro or adeo but fc's when i select..i just odin'd back to stock eb13 and did a fresh flash,any help would be appreciated

I love the rom itself, best I've ever had but I have had issues with the phones default browser. Sometimes when I go to certain websites with a lot of media on them, like a website that has manga on it, or if I watch a video on the browser itself, when I exit the video player on the site half of the screen is white and I have to turn the screen right side up in order to see the whole screen again. Other issue I've had is I am unable to update the profile or prl on my phone. This is the only rom I've used where I've had this issue and being able to update both can help with a lot of issues and wanted to know has anyone had these issues and been able to correct them. A hard reset nor reflash worked.

Just in case you were still having the issue, you can try this, I promise it worked for me when I was trying Ace Rom and had the same issue. If you flash a different rom first, Viper worked for me, and then flash to SRF, it may work.

This is common across all ROMs, stock or custom, on DI18, EB13, and EC05. It's an ongoing problem with no real solution.
