Anyone have their dock icons disappear every now and then? I can easily fix by going into settings and picking none and then back to 5 like I have and they reappear but just kind of an annoying little bug. Other than that this rom has been great.

Yes I had that problem too, but all you have to do is hold your finger where it is supposed to be then you swipe down and it reappears. Well thats what happens for me.

Updated apk of the new update to restore Gingerbread notification. Uninstall the update first, place apk on /sdcard, then use the toolbox to install Gmail.apk

Can someone please explain how to use the toolbox to install the Gmail.apk? I cannot figure it out. When I choose the option to install any .apk from the /sdcard, nothing happens.

how can you get rid of the thx startup noise? It is very loud and it would be very inconvenient having to reboot in a quiet situation.

I have tried everything i can think of to install the Droid Pees & Beats Apple boot animation from Bootanimations ? droidpirate.com What do i have to do to get this to work?

I have the one where it draws the Android then flashes red light. Wasn't hard at all. Just follow the instructions on their site.

I am new to android and my first attempt in updating my ROM. I have my phone rooted and have followed the direction listed. It starts to load then it gets to a signiture validate and fails then aborts the install. How do Iget past this or am I doing something wrong.

I am new to android and my first attempt in updating my ROM. I have my phone rooted and have followed the direction listed. It starts to load then it gets to a signiture validate and fails then aborts the install. How do Iget past this or am I doing something wrong.

I would try to just place the file in the root of your SD card and leave the filename as is, then clear/wipe data factory reset in clockwork recovery. Install .zip from SD card. Find your apex 1.4.1 zip and install. Also check to see if the file size is correct (115mb) I know that when I download on my droid sometimes it doesn't fully download and I see it still on my phone, but don't bother to realize that it only partially downloaded and I renamed it update.zip. That's usually my reason for signature verification failed message.

Solid battery life back in full effect. I forgot to wipe the stats at a 100% charge. D'oh. Did that over the weekend and here I sit at 90% after unplugging at 8:00 am and is now noon here in LA. Boo yeah.

Now I've got Apex 1.4.1 Honeycomb'd out. Boot logo = Android Bee; Boot animation = XOOM, Background = XOOM city. Fab + TNT FTW. You guys *really* hooked us up. Thank you.

I as well am expieriencing fantastic battery life. Ive beenchugging all over this thing since 8am its now 4:15 and im at 30%. My use consist of browsing flashing playing some games briefly, recording for an hour, hitting up the market about every hour or so. OUTSTANDING! Well done on this rom. Whatever you did to improve it, you did well.

Charge the battery to 100%, unplug, boot into recovery, wipe battery stats, reboot. It should get greatly improved battery life from there.
