[ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

ICS 4.0.4
Partition sdcard: swap-size: 64MB, Ext2-size: 300MB, Continue partitioning, SD:ext2 to ext3

How do I do that ? Am I doing it from the computer or there is an option in the recovery?

Also what is the need of doing that? Bigger internal memory?

Thanks

Envoy? depuis mon Motorola Defy en utilisant ICS !

You could do it from recovery, but that way you lose all stuff on sd-card, so you need to backup, or you use a tool like EASUS Partition Manager (windows)

But these steps are optional.

Here is the solution. Right click My Computer and select properties. Goto device manager. And locate MTP USB Device. Right click and choose select update driver. Select 'browse my computer for drivers' and then choose "Let me pick drivers to install". You will get two options select the USB controllers and click OK and you are done.

EASUS Partition Manager (windows) is the way to go its faster and works perfect not sure im allowed to post outside links but just google EASUS Partition Manager you will find it

Oh, okay the workaround I use is to delete the voice search apk from /system/app and then I can just install the old one from the play store, it's basically the same thing so it's not really an issue

OK so what app is everyone using for apps2sd there is a ton of them on the market but none say to ext3

Never mind I had a brain fart duhhh link2sd I had been using it on gb lol

This works!!! Thank you very much. Another good alternative for everyone would be to use WIFI FILE EXPLORER. It works really well and lets you push and pull files to your phone without ever plugging it in.

There is an assert failure because the rom is made for p500 not p505. So the cwm will only work with p505 roms. You need to use the old bb cwm for p500.

Are you saying the recovery _Arjen_ made will only work with roms specifically made for p505/p506?

Yeah i got the rom installed with the old cwm and after i did a full wipe after installing said rom it worked as expected

I just tried out the Arjen's CM9 rom for the p505 from last week sometime. I used his kernel but I couldn't get the wifi to actually turn on. It just got stuck on turning on wifi. Has anyone else had this issue?
