It also seems odd that a Samsung.com order is using UPS. That would be a change of course for them.

Yeah replied that to him, but we all got UPS tracking from Samsung only it's not active for any of us except him. He says tracking number is correct but let's see. Either way I'm just glad that samsung.com orders shipping, worst case we will receive later in the week which I'm fine.

Ups wants to charge $58 to move it to the vacation UPS store location. No charge for any ups locations near home. Makes sense since the vacation store is 600 miles away. Don't want to pay that.

Amy, isn't there a neighbor or a friend that could go by your house the day it's delivered and get it for you?

I prefer UPS because my packages don't arrive looking like they played football with them. FE's packages are always crushed.

For those of you that have purchased more than one phone...when you log into your tmobile account and check the status...and you click more details underneath shipped what does it say?

On my first line it says 39.00 monthly

on my second line it says 0.00 monthly

and then in my email the order confirmation on my first line everything is normal....on my second line it says something about a promo as long as I meet the requirements.

I called tmobile and they think its the bogo promo however I am on Jump on demand I don't qualify so I am not sure what promo this is but I need to find out so I can do whatever needs to be done to make sure this phone stays free....unless everyone else that has more than one phone says this also.....

That would be nice if that was the case as I ordered two as well.
Was your second line a new line?

I read back in April that T-Mobile and others got into "trouble" with Samsung after early shipments of the S8/+.

I think Samsung is absolutely interested in getting these shipped early, but only if they have their latest software update to put the final production build on the phone ready in time. I suspect that this year they've asked all carriers to ship arriving the same day, and that carriers have asked UPS to hold off on picking up the packages until they get the green light from Samsung.

But this is all speculation on my part and some article I read back in April.

The phones left the factory weeks ago. They all have the same software + your respective carrier bloat. I suspect that has nothing to do with shipping dates. Yes TMO and others got their hand slapped for the S7 shipping so early which was why everyone was in a panic and confused when the Note 7's sat on the docks instead of heading to their doors. It was a deviation from the norm.

If I'm to believe the news I've read, Samsung has given Verizon the green light, as VZW officially acknowledged the devices were shipping and expected users to start receiving them by Tuesday.

Like everyone else, I'm excited to get my phone and am enjoying all the buzz here and posting to the point of almost trolling lol. Good times

I haven't looked this one up with the buy one get one on the Note 8, are they simply giving you 24 monthly bill credits on that phone and if you happen to cancel early the balance of that phone is actually due?

With the bogo it's a rebate card and you have to be on EIP to qualify ...i am on jump on demand ...i am so confused and the reps are too they think I qualify for bogo but I dont.

Since I am eligible for my jump pretty much anytime I want, still not sure if I should pre-order now or wait until after this phone is released and wait for a week or two and see what everyone thinks and how battery life is. But with the Note 7 I pre-ordered the moment it went live. And since this has a 210 upfront down payment is a lot of $$$. But it also brings down the monthly payments down to $30 which is the same as my iPhone 7plus. Any suggestions? But I'm also afraid after a month or two they will be running a sale like $150 off. I'm one of those who can't wait.

Well I called and talked to them yesterday which was a waste of time because they're saying that it shows that the phones are not going to be released until pre-orders anyway the 13th to the 15th or that's when we're going to get them now when I talk to UPS he told me that T-Mobile has not released the phone yet to send out so from what I'm hearing it's up to T-Mobile and it's up to Samsung when T-Mobile releases them so we may be the last on the list. Now that's just my guess we may see some movement tomorrow but I haven't seen any movement for 3 days now on UPS so I don't look for any movement until maybe tomorrow night sometime tomorrow maybe if they're going to release them and let them be delivered well the ones overnight Tuesday but I'm not counting on it.

I'm jealous, I just pre-ordered yesterday so I know my phones won't be shipping anytime soon, but since I'm a brand new customer I can't even get into my account to start torturing myself yet! lol. There isn't a phone number associated with my account yet... I want to join everyone in hitting refresh! ugh
