ok,droid fully charged and nothing wrong with it so far. getting email and texts fine. ok, good to go. still have launcher 2 and works. gallery is ok. running good i guess. i dunno,weird. everything is good as far as i can tell.

this makes no sense to me. i dont see how the Droid, which is receiving only a signal from the computer, not controlling the computer could cause the computer to fry. Especially from having sholes on it, which is completely irrelevant because at the time its on the computer its just a group of files, and nothing more.

furthermore, thebizz how do you create the sprecovery without pc access? how do you get into the adb shell?

Try this reboot into recovery
select backup restore
And you should see 2 options for backups

Crap!!! I installed it and my battery died and now I get a moto screen and goes black. It is on charge and it won't turn back on..

If you dont get past the boot logo, you may have just given yourself a $550 paperweight.

You installed this rom, and did you make a nandroid backup prior if so reboot into recovery and restore back to your previous rom.
What's weired my battery just died and once I plugged the phone in 25 sec later it was on

It worked first time and I was getting gmail and etc. Then bam the battery flushed and I still have the white light saying its charging. So you think its fried?

If it booted once you should be good, but cant make that promise. lets hope you have a recovery set up...

I don't have wall plugger right now. I am at work. So its plugged to my computer.

He can load any rom he has in his recovery as long as he wipes the data first. Unplug do a battery pull and let me know what happens when you plug back in

I know this, but I meant I hope it was properly created.

That'd why it's not the rom its the phone your fine it wont reboot immediately on the comp it doesn't put out enough juice
Let it charge for a little while then try and turn it on
