Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

You see I have every thing working OK... But the colors are crap and really hard to read

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

after that gets you to boot, you need to root it and get CWM. put rom of choice and kernel on root of sd card. read thru the CWM HOW TO.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

well i tried that and got it all screwed again..
now I get the logo then the little flashes of color than a dimmley lit screen ....

lol here we go again

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

apparently, snake, u don't have correct kdz. otherwise colors should be fine

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

when you plug it in to usb. i just keep mine always on.

do we have a phoenix kdz? brberie

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

I do have indian with wrong baseband but it is overflashible

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

so question. Should we be able to flash the CM Nightly ROM, and not have to patch it with jobans kernel? (so its not just blue tinted) i think i'm reading it wrong when you guys, or even joban, saying we can just flash the official CM Rom, and all should work.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Only adfad666's cm7.2. Be sure to get the one for. 32 kernel and old baseband. The official cm7.2 nightlys are. 35 kernel and new baseband.
With any p500 rom we need jobans kernel. Carlosrom is the only Phoenix specific custom rom.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

UPDATE: Compiled the .35 ICS kernel but it didnt boot! I tried everything but we just need LG sources for the .35 kernel sorry but i give up. BTW theres really nothing special about ICS other than a different settings menu it looks pretty much the same thing. (I tried CM9)

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Can't blame ya for tryen. Thanks.
Not to insinuate to take up your free time.
Is there much more that can be done with this kernel?

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Umm the other blackscreen bug admit didnt work so we can look more into that, and thats about it for the this kernel, and now im back on the P505 specific CM7 rom but which I had some gingerbread sources to start with or some gingerbread libs for the p505 because the 2.2 ones not going good with gingerbread! Lets all bug LG to release gingerbread sources?
