Code:
LD .tmp_vmlinux1
drivers/built-in.o:dhd_linux.c:function dhd_module_init: warning: relocation refers to discarded section
drivers/built-in.o:dhd_linux.c:function dhd_module_init: warning: relocation refers to discarded section
drivers/built-in.o:lowmemorykiller.c:function mdp_dma2_update: error: undefined reference to 'on_hidden_reset'
drivers/built-in.o:lowmemorykiller.c:function mdp_dma_pan_update: error: undefined reference to 'LG_ErrorHandler_enable'
drivers/built-in.o:dhd_linux.c:function dhd_module_init: warning: relocation refers to discarded section
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1

Really we're one error away from .35? There has got to be some super geek out there that knows exactly what this means. I mean you can tell its something dealing with drivers but I think its a little above my pay grade.

yeaa that was like the last part to be complied after patching like 50 files I finally got there!

So what exactly is breaking? I don't know enough to look at a MAKE output and understand it.

im not sure if this has been asked yet, but in the next update would it be possible to allow cpu voltage control so higher overclocks wud be possible, for those who dont care about battery life?

Joban! Hope this helps
Type make menuconfig and check if any LG patch is selected disabled all LG patches maybe u enable LG hidden reset support or something like that.if u get any error from specific file then check what was that error.

Hope this help

UPDATE: Finally got my new kernel to compile! Now downloading CM7 nightly to see if it works on it! Wish me good luck!

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Found a new ROM seems to be a tweaked version of the ComsicExperia 3.5.

[JAN 24][ROM]PerfectPeso v1.1a|.32&.35|Both Basebands|CM7.2A8-N2|Fast-Smooth-Stable| - xda-developers

Make sure you follow the format instruction or you will end up having no status bar and a giant headache. I just installed it but it seems to be pretty fast. No real bumps in the road so far. You will need to install several files to get it to work but there all just zip's you can apply through CWM. And if you like experia but hated the 4 corner launcher then this one is for you cause they took that out.

Never did and never will.
I only wondered if we (you) could improve on what we already had. ;)
Thanks for trying.

UPDATE: Flashed kernel and the phone didnt go past the LG logo with all the buttons lit up! Well now im done trying but there is no way to make .32 drivers to work with .35! So end story on .35 please dont ask me again on it.

Not to push here cause honestly I don't really care about the .35 kernel as much as having a great rom that runs 2.3, but I am curious. Do the drivers exist in some other form somewhere out on the net. Kernel building is way beyond my knowledge base but I remember doing similar things with windows CE drivers. If I knew the manufacture of an actual part (wifi chipset for instance) I could just lie to the OS and tell it I had a card from one maker when really it was another. Does some other manufacture make the phone parts or is this an LG only thing and if so do the parts exist in some other phone that does work with .35? Again I really don't care about .35 as there seems to be no real reason to get .35 other than running ICS which wont really do much on our phones anyways. There are plenty of good ROMs out there for .32. which IMHO should be the focus for any further development. Get the best kernel we can and find(make) a good stable ROM and get our GPU cranking out some better speed. Again just my two cents.

just as a warning I got the dreaded phone.android.com error after wiping the battery stats.
